We Invite You To Experience Maine! This home is perfectly set up for a fun vacation with family and friends, a romantic getaway, or a personal retreat to rejuvenate one’s soul. Visiting guests will be staying on Allen Mountain, 3 miles from Denmark Center. This quaint town is 50 miles from Portland, 20 miles from N. Conway and 10 miles from Fryeburg. Denmark is located in the “Lakes Region,” of the western mountains of Maine. The only vacation log home in Denmark nestled on 24 acres of Maine woods; its name, “The Pines” is derived from its location on the mountain. As you’ll see when you arrive, our home sits high amongst tall pine trees. Whether you’re looking for a summer or winter getaway, our property has a lot to offer - like fishing, hiking, mountain biking, cross country skiing, skiing and snowmobiling. All year round guests can enjoy shopping and the factory outlets in North Conway, many restaurants, historic Mt. Washington and other Maine and New Hampshire attractions.

For Your Winter Getaway: Walk out our French doors and numerous trails will spread out before you for snow shoeing, cross country skiing and 600 miles of snowmobile trails! Visit Shawnee Peak (less than 10 miles away) for day and night skiing. For ice fishing and skating visit Sebago Lake (less than 20 miles away) and other lakes and ponds including Hancock and Moose Pond!

Additional guests can sleep on a living room futon (with an extra thick and reinforced mattress), or a fold down futon chair (also with an extra thick and reinforced mattress). All Guests Are Advised To Bring Extra Blankets And Pillows.

Notes: The kitchen in the home offers full amenities including pots/pans, mixing bowls, baking pans, pizza pan, microwave bowls, casserole bowl, dishes, cups, bowls, glasses, utensils, spatula, can opener, cork screw, toaster oven, coffee grinder, coffee maker, etc. No need to bring anything at all !! The kitchen and living room offer vaulted ceilings with ceiling fans, a dining table with chairs, large log futon with extra thick mattress, sleeper chair, log coffee table, floor lamp and log end tables. The large windows look out to a beautiful covered full cedar porch with recessed lighting on a dimmer switch. Walk out the porch door, have a seat in the Adirondack chairs and take in the mountain air and fantastic views or dim the lights and gaze at the stars. There's plenty of parking.
