House, 2 Bedrooms + Den, 1.5 Baths, (Sleeps 5)

Click on calendar for availability before contacting owner. All information is up to date. Enchanting 6 room, fully furnished home situated on Sunset Point 1 mile from Nantasket beach. This house is as cozy and charming as a home can get. This is not your typical rental.

The home is personally decorated, with fabulous views throughout. There are many charming touches to this home, including professional artist faux painting with a seaside theme on walls throughout different areas of the home. The gardens are delightful with the hydrangeas throughout the yard displaying a rainbow of colors during peak flowering season.

There are 2 bedrooms (master with a queen size bed and double in the second bedroom). The bedrooms master bath and laundry are on the second level, and the 1/2 bath on the first level.

There is also a den which has an additional portable single bed. The kitchen was designed by Kitchen Concepts of Norwell and has beautiful granite counter tops, with a whimsical hand painted backsplash of sea life.

This is a perfect spot for enjoying the summer months, watching the boats go buy, or going to Nantasket Beach which is 1 mile from the house. You can also enjoy, kayaking, rafting and swimming in the water directly off your own personal dock. Please note: the docks are usually put in mid June, however there are no guarantees as I am at the mercy of when my neighbors who do the docks when they do their own. A mooring is also available directly out from the dock if you have a boat. The commuter boat to Boston or Logan Airport is a 15 minute drive from the house. Enjoy wonderful restaurants scattered throughout Hull, Hingham and Cohasset. Please inquire about pets. If you would like to see more photos, I can e-mail them to you. Located in Boston's exclusive South Shore, with ferry and commuter rail service into Boston. Historic sights, attractions, restaurants, and recreation abound. Close to historic Plymouth, nestled among quaint towns with a wide assortment of restaurants, activities, attractions, antique shops and amazing sunsets. Absolutely wonderful cottage made our stay....

Serendipity is the most charming and peaceful cottage that I have ever rented through VRBO. The house is beyond comfortable and cozy yet so very well appointed. One of the things that we kept commenting on were all of the little decorative touches that make the house so special. Everywhere you look there is something to charm you... it just adds to the special atmosphere of the home. Even in the middle of winter, the view and the setting on the water are relaxing and enchanting. I want to note - We celebrated my son's birthday while here and I prepared not one but two birthday celebrations for our extended family that live in Massachusetts. I prepared a small intimate dinner celebration one night for 6 and a larger Sunday brunch for 15. The kitchen is so well equipped that I literally did not have to feel "out of place" or "unequipped" when cooking. I had everything from small kitchen prep items to beautiful serving dishes. Nancy has been a pleasure to deal with as well and I would highly recommend the property to anyone considering it.

We had a lovely HULLiday!

The house is appropriately named (Serendipity) and as beautiful as the pictures are --- real life is even more beautiful. There are amazing views from all rooms in the house. The house was neat and clean and the kitchen well equipped.

The back porch offered relaxing views and sounds. We had all the windows and doors open --- "Serendipty" feeds the soul.

The area is lovely as well --- so many nearby little towns/shops and the big city a "doable" distance away.

Absolutely perfect site for our stay. Only wished we could have been there 2 weeks instead of one. Owner is very accommodating and we found it a pleasure to work with Nancy. It was very easy to feel "at home" in this cottage. Loved the full moon on the water--oh the views are awesome! Noticed the calendar is FULL--others have found this gem too!

My wife, son, daughter, my daughter's boyfriend and I spent the first week of May at this lovely seaside home and, even though the weather was not great, we all had a wonderful time. Certainly our choice of accommodation played a major role in having a fun and relaxing vacation. We were originally considering staying at a hotel in Boston but are very pleased that we checked out VRBO and found this property instead. The pictures posted on the internet attracted us to renting the property but they don't completely convey the real charm of Nancy's home. It really is idyllic. Nancy's home is extremely comfortable, immaculate, beautifully decorated and has the ocean in the backyard! We all found it to be such a relaxing place to return to after visiting Boston during the day (only a 20 minute ferry ride away). Nanatasket is a lovely oceanfront community and I'm sure it would be even more fun to visit in the summer. We were able to get out to two excellent Nanatasket restaurants - Jakes Seafood and Saporito's Florence Club Cafe. Also we would recommend the takeout pizza from Riva Pizza (thin crust with lots of great ingredients to choose from). We would highly recommend staying at Nancy's lovely home to anyone considering a visit to the Boston area. You will not be disappointed.

This little cottage is simply delightful and I wish I was back there right now! Open the front door to a light, bright and airy space surrounded by the sea from every window... it is just amazing.
The house is cozy when its cool and cool when its hot. The back porch is just about as good as it gets for relaxing, unwinding and recharging.
Every space is immaculately clean, the beds are super-comfy, the kitchen is wonderfully equipped and the house is decorated beautifully throughout. Then there are all the little inspirational touches which just help you relax and get life in perspective. We quite simply loved every day we were there and took away cherished memories that will last a lifetime.
We drove to Hingham a few days (which is about 15mins away) and took the commuter boat into Boston which was just lovely as then we didn't have to think about driving and parking etc. The boat goes into Boston harbour which means you are immediately downtown and everything is within walking distance - right beside Quincy market. Also we went to the lovely Nantasket beach and explored the surronding area which has some lovely little villages - really New England at its best.
BUT nothing beat that after dinner glass of wine on that fabulous back porch! Loved it all and want to go back - don't miss it! Thank you Nancy
