Photos and Description of the Wells vacation cottage rental Studio unit sleeps 2-3, 1 full bath

Unbelievable location, directly on the beach. Free standing condo cottage, one of seven known as Moody Sands Villas. Our cottage has a brand new interior with full kitchen, corian counters in the color 'beach glass', sliding glass door overlooking the sand and surf. Enjoy a little luxury at the beach. Murphy wall bed with premium mattress, 600 thread count sheets, cozy blankets and cotton spreads. Lay in bed at night and listen to the waves crashing right outside the door. This is the closest thing to having a bed on the beach! Full bath with rainfall shower head and luxurious towels. All linens included, even beach towels. Moody beach is a private beach for homeowners only. It has beautiful powder like sand and is shallow, just wonderful for children. Two outdoor showers are part of the association. We are located close to Ogunquit beach and the Marginal way. 2 Beach chairs and boogie boards provided. Limited to 3 occupants, property is non smoking inside and out (beach)

Moody Beach is located in the town of Wells between the popular towns of Ogunquit and Kennebunk. Wells boasts seven miles of white sandy beaches. Moody is a private beach. Our cottage is located on a peninsula of land with the Atlantic ocean in our front yard and the Ogunquit river and Rachel Carsen preserve in our back yard. Very popular area for tourists with many restaurants and close by area attractions.

This was the perfect location for a romantic getaway for my parents' 35th anniversary. They enjoyed their stay immensely due to the efficiency, neatness, and decor of the cottage--not to mention the ideal location right on the beach and minutes away from Ogunquit! My parents rode their bikes a lot, enjoyed fabulous restaurants in the area, and walked on the local beaches. On my end of things, it was great to work with Deb, the owner, on this special surprise project for my parents. She even bought fresh flowers at my request! My parents were so pleased and want to go back as soon as possible! Thanks, Deb!!

A Perfect Moody Beach Cottage

My husband and I know Moody Beach and the surrounding area very well and our expectations for lodging are quite high. We found this charming little gem on the internet, and to our delight, it was EXACTLY as described. Very cosy, beautifully decorated, lovely shower, comfortable bed, plenty of thoughtful extras. The place was spotless, the rules reasonable. All business with the owner was uncomplicated and had a personal touch. We love the serenity of Moody in September. This waterfront home provides the restful vacation we needed. We will be there next year.

My husband and I celebrated our 30th wedding anniversary on the beach. The cottage was everything we hoped it would be and so much more. The cottage was very clean and cozy with all the modern conveniences. We would recommend to anybody looking for a great place to stay right on the beach that this cottage is it!! We look forward to coming back for many years to come.

Absolutely charming cottage perched on the prettiest beach in Maine. Impeccably decorated, completely
equipped with everything you need for a perfect beach
vacation...This rental exceeds expectation, and dealing
with the owner is a delight. The Ogunquit / Wells area is packed with wonderful gift shops, galleries and restaurants for every taste and budget, (don't miss Perkins' Cove!)
but nothing beats a barbecue on the beach, and this is provided for as well. Pack light because all of the comforts of home are provided. My husband and I wholeheartedly recommend this spot to anyone wanting an authentic taste of Maine's seacoast. An incomparable view of
the ocean and the sound of the surf to send you off to sleep - This is a cottage you will want to return to.
Best equipped and most lovely ocean accomodation
for a couple - period.

Cozy and Quaint Cottage

We stayed here for 3 nights and really loved the place. The beach and the water are right out the door. We slept with the sliding door open and heard the waves all night.

Cottage is small but that is part of the charm. Cottage is updated and fresh and we were very comfortable there. Only minor issue was there was not an abundance of hot water but to be expected in a small place.

Very easy access from I-95.

Overall I would highly recommend the cottage if you are looking for that small cottage right on the beach.
