Private, panoramic views await you at Turner Cove. The peaceful 12-acre oceanfront property is equipped with simple, welcoming, and comfortable amenities. Three bedrooms include two full beds and one twin bed. Fully equipped kitchen and gas grill. Relax with a book on the deck, explore the Cove at low tide, swim in the pristine Turner Pond, or embark on an ambitious hike on the National Park Trails. A fleet of bicycles are available for you to explore the Island. Leave your vehicle in Stonington, ride the mailboat to Isle Au Haut and do not forget your camera! Mooring access is available, and kayaks are welcome. Turner Cove is TV-free. Owner occupancy of other side of duplex. If you would like to invite friends, inquire about the Little Red Schoolhouse which offers sleeping for two in a separate fully equipped studio at the end of the lane.

Isle Au Haut Maine is the 'road less traveled' in the Acadia National Park System. Half of the Island is national park land with a network of spectacular trails, and the remainder is privately owned. The Island has views of Mount Desert Island where Bar Harbor is located. The Island has a 12 mile loop road, and there is no regular car ferry. There are no large public lodging or dining facilities, but reservations can be made for dinner at the Inn at Isle Au Haut. There is a general store, a community church, library, and one room schoolhouse. Local lobster shouldn't be missed!
