If one prefers french cuisine, the fashionable resort of Menton is only 15 - 20 min drive away.
Shopping & Enternaiment: Enjoy the fashionable towns of San Remo, Monte Carlo and Menton with their designer shops and the twice weekly market. Why not try your luck in the world renown casinos? San Remo is renowned for its entertainment with the Music Festival in February, the Historic Car Rally in March and the International Firework Display in July. The summer season features enternainment every night with live bands, fashion shows and open-air concerts.
Ski: Limone Piemonte has a long ski history, being one of the oldest ski resorts in Italy and attracting skiers since the turn of the last century. The resort is only one hours drive or train journey away and has a typical mediterranean feel. The resort has an authentic atmosphere popular with all ages and abilities and is centred round a 12th Century Church in a picturesque setting. There are over 90 kilometers of ski runs over the 46 slopes at the resort. The season at Limone Piemonte runs from December to April with good conditions throughout. The resort is lively and full of Italian character boasting fine quisine and great apres ski. Its mediterranean atmospehre attracts visitors of all ages. Its charming churches and cobbled streets adds to the authenticity of the village, renowned boutiques, art galleries and piano concertos all make appealing attractions at this popular resort.
