The house is FOR SALE: If interested.. LMK -- Tenants rights will be preserved.

Ski: Over 200 inches of snow fall in Grand Traverse County every Winter, we can't always predict when, so be ready for it almost anytime... ! Could be in November or March ( or April ) But pretty good chance for Dec, Jan, and Feb - that we will be covered in white when you get here.. even if it's green 'downstate' ... We are close to Holiday Hills for great Family Skiing, Beginner/Intermediate Skiing, Snowboarding, and Snow Tubing. Muncie Lakes Pathway is a nicely marked and groomed X-C skiing , snowshoeing and hiking trail system a few miles away. Timber Ridge nearby has x-c ski and snowshoe rentals and lighted trails that hook up with our VASA trails. The bigger hills.... Crystal Mtn and Shuss & Shanty Creek are about 45-60 minutes away .

Golf: Would you rather stay 'off the beaten path' and Golf a different place everyday, or get in a few hours of fishing after the back nine ? Why settle for a 'room' when you can have a Whole House on the Lake !! When you are here, you will feel like you are in the middle of nowhere, but will have easy access to 'town' and all the Golf Courses in the area - and there are lots !

Other Activities: x-c skiing, snowshoeing, snowmobiling, hiking

What a great place!

Review Submitted: July 20, 2009 Date of Stay: July 2009
We were a group of 4 families here over the weekend. It was booked last minute, and it worked out perfectly for our large group. Even though the weather did not cooperate, we all had a great time. It was so nice and roomy, nobody was tripping over each other, we put all the kids in the large bedroom, and they had a ball. The ping-pong table and the pontoon were just the perfect extra's to top the weekend. Thanks for everything!!
Owner's Response: We are just a phone call or eMail away, and we have 11 places on Spider Lake, all sizes, locations, amenities.. for all seasons and all reasons... Thanks for taking such nice care of the place ! Kathy

Harolds Resort

!!L&J Garden City, MI
Review Submitted: July 15, 2009 Date of Stay: June 2009
My family and I just spent a week at Harolds Landing V. Other than the first few days of rain we still had a great time. We were less than an hour away from the sand dunes (which are extremely beautiful but exhausting to climb). Our week ended with the beginning of the Cherry Festival so we loaded up the motorhome again and enjoyed the festival and fireworks. The lake is much larger than we expected and the sandbar was a great spot to just sit and relax and enjoy the sunny days. Fishing was a great success too...they caught at least 100 fish that week which made them extremely happy! Thanks again for the wonderful time.
Owner's Response: Spider Lake does have a lot to offer.. fishing, swimming, exploring, islands and sandbars. And everyday you can go out and "get lost" and find a different part of the lake that you didn't even know existed. Thank you for taking such good care of the house and taking time to leave this review. Kathy

Soccer Weekend

Niffer Sterling Heights, MI
Review Submitted: September 15, 2008 Date of Stay: September 2008
We came to Traverse City for my sons soccer tournament in September. We were having trouble finding hotel arrangements and started looking for houses. The owners were very helpful in every way. We fell in love with this house from the pictures and were more in love with it when we arrived! The house was extreamly clean and there is a TON of room. We had to drag the boys to their soccer games because they didn't want to leave the house! We are definately renting this house again next year when we come up for the Traverse City soccer tournament!
