The kids might enjoy bringing their bikes for a leisurely ride in the safety of this secure community. All of the conveniences of home are evident with the full kitchen, ample sitting and dining for a family of 6, washer/dryer, central air, 2 cable TVs, DVD/VCR, and large lakefront deck for enjoying the cool evening sea breezes while grilling your favorite seafood. Garden City is centrally located along the Grand Strand on the north coast of South Carolina, with the quaint fishing village of Murrells Inlet to the South and Myrtle Beach to the north. While in Garden City you might want to visit Marlin Quay Marina located on the Garden City Point, or perhaps check out The Pier or one of the many shops and restaurants. To the north Myrtle Beach and all of its many attractions await your arrival….still need excitement? The fishing fleet or perhaps the Gambling Boats out of Little River might be your “cup of tea.”. A little farther north and across the Cape Fear River will put you in the heart of Historic Wilmington NC. Or you might prefer a little southern excursion to dine in one of the great seafood restraints in Murrells Inlet where you can also find deep-sea fishing, parasailing, jet ski rentals and more. From there keep traveling south and take a carriage ride through historic Charleston SC.

The Best Vacation

This house was wonderful. My family and i had a great time feeding the ducks from our deck, renting a golf cart and cruising around the village. There was not a thing we did not like about this vacation rental. We fully intend to use the same service, and rent the same cottage next year, but for 2 weeks instead of just one! Home away was a terrific site. I had quick response to any questions, and had no problems with the realty co. This was sooo easy, and great. I highly recommend home away and the oceanside village for all your vacation needs!
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Girls Getaway, Tourists without a Car, Sightseeing, Families with Teenagers, Families with Young Children, People with Disabilities, Romantic Getaway
