La Vida del Sol. A relaxing family home on Florida's Emerald Coast between Panama City and Destin on Scenic Hwy 30A. Located in White's Gulfview, on a quiet residential street just 200 steps from the beach. Enjoy your own private swimming pool, large deck and ocean views from the master bedroom. This 4 bedroom, 3 bath home is available for nightly (3 night min), weekly or monthly rental. It has been redecorated & a brand new 13' X 26' swimming pool & sunbathing area has been added. More pictures can be found on our personal website - link below. The house is perfect for family gatherings & has a 2nd living area/Media Room with a 50' plasma HDTV, 5 Disc DVD Home Theater (CD, DVD, mp3, ipod compatible), & a 2 car garage on the ground floor. We also offer free wireless internet and cable throughout the house. Beach towels, 4 bicycles, beach chairs & pool floats/toys are provided. There is a large deck overlooking the pool as well as a covered lanai pool level if the sun gets too hot!

La Vida del Sol is located in a quiet community close to the beach & offers a private pool. With our open plan kitchen, dining & living room, La Vida is perfect for vacationing with family and friends. If you're not a beach bum, South Walton is considered a golfer's paradise with numerous golf courses in the area. However, if golf isn't you're thing, you can take a stroll along the beach or bike, walk or jog along the 18-mile path that winds along Scenic 30A passing several lakes & National parks, unique shops & restaurants, and offers gorgeous views of the ocean. Moreover, there is always something going at the nearby South Walton communities including markets, craft fairs, free outdoor theatre/concerts, and much more. Within a short 30 minute drive, one can find a plethora of activities in Destin or Panama City.

  • No hidden fees - weekly rates include 11.5% Lodging & Sales tax as well as cleaning fees.
  • Primary renter must be at least 25. (Unfortunately, no student groups) $500 refundable Security/Damage Deposit required with reservation.
  • Minimum stay: 1 week - Saturday to Saturday during peak periods. Will consider shorter stays during non-peak periods - 3-night minimum. Nightly rates do not include 11.5% tax and $175 cleaning fee. Monthly rental available - Snowbirds welcome.

    Extra charge for heating the pool. Pets considered with prior approval.

Notes: The kitchen, great room and dining room are spacious open-plan living and is perfect for family gatherings/dinners and an evening of cards or board games. There is a large second living area, Media Room with a 50' HDTV and home theatre system on the ground floor as well as the laundry room, with washing machine and dryer. Highchair provided. The pool is a tremendous asset to the house. It’s like another huge living space. With it’s location on the west side of the house it's in the sun from mid-morning until dusk. It is a terrific area for family gatherings or reading and relaxing in the sun or under the lanai.

Panama City & Destin activities: Both Destin and Panama City (approximately 30 minutes) offer lots of activities for the family such as Big Kahuna - a water sports and adventure park. Other activities include Miniature Golf, Go-Kart racing, Deep Sea Fishing, Dolphin Watch, Diving, Seaplane Tours, Wave Runner Eco Tour, Airboat Adventures, and a Winery Tour and Tasting. Plenty to keep the family busy!

Golf:

Camp Creek Golf Course, a 2001 Tom Fazio designed 18-hole golf course, is the closest golf course to La Vida del Sol - entrance approximately 1 mile from the house. Florida's Emerald Coast is a golfer's paradise with at least 12 golf courses within 30 minutes of our home.

My family and I just returned home from our second time staying in this house and we are considering reserving again for next year. This house is very clean and nice inside and out and is in a perfect location - just far enough from Seaside, Destin and Panama City and just a short walk to the beach. After a hot day at the beach, the covered back patio and private pool were perfect. We also enjoyed the bikes and beach toys that were available.
We were a bit worried about the tarballs and oil (luckily we did not see any at all) and the owner was very helpful with providing us updated information from websites and other resources.
This was our seventh year vacationing in this area and we enjoy it every year. As I told the owner, I wish I could go back more often, but we definitely look forward to next year!

Had a great stay

We had a total of 10 people staying in the house. Had a wonderful time. The pool was awsome. Spent most of our time there. The beach is not far away but still hard to get everything you need down the steps. The kitchen had everything we needed and plenty of place settings for everyone. Very clean and kept up. We would for sure come back next time.

Beautiful Home!!

The home is beautiful! We stayed with a total of 4 adults and 4 kids and had plenty of room. The kitchen is stocked with everything you need. The home is decorated Very nicely and is clean and comfortable. It was nice not to have to pack beach chairs, beach toys and towels as they furnished an ample supply. And, we loved the pool!

The only cautionary comments I have that others may want to know: the house is on 3 levels and the walk to the beach is across a street and down a hefty flight of stairs which may be a hinderence for families with small children and a couple of the beach chairs needed replacing. However, this would Not stop us from returning!!! We loved our stay!! Thank you very much!!!

Great vacation house for 10

There were 6 adults and 4 children. This house has two living rooms that can seat and suit many. The kitchen, front porch and the pool area is were most of the adults relaxed at. The walk to the actual private boardwalk was very short, maybe 2 minutes if that. We highly recommend this home for your families vacation. All we had to purchase was our food, the house contained a ton of toys for the water and the kitchen was fully stocked.

Best Vacation Home

La Vida del Sol was the best vacation home I have been to in a while. The location was very family oriented and had many accommodating stores in the area. From restaurants to shopping, the area was great. When we were not relaxing on the beach we were in our own private pool back at the house. The home itself was very beautiful and fits the perfect amount of people. It even comes equipped with all of the necessities that one would use back at home.The quiet friendly neighborhood was awesome for our girl week. I would highly recommend this house to anyone looking for a relaxing time at the beach!
