Deadlines? What Deadlines?

We stayed for a week last July. It was an easy ride from Boston, and the location is a great spot nestled in a quiet, wooded area. The neighbors are friendly, but unintrusive, and the lake is just a very short walk with a cozy beach area. The house itself has something for everyone, with a game room and hand-built bar downstairs, a bumper pool table, and a good-sized color tv with cable. A big dining room table allowed us all to fit there for meals or playing games, but we usually took advantage of the spacious deck to enjoy our meals.
It was especially relaxing to enjoy breakfast and that first cup of coffee on the deck while the sun gradually climbed over the surrounding trees. There was also plenty of additional deck space upstairs to hang wet towels, bathing suits, etc., or even to sit out there and relax with a good book. The backyard was pretty big, and most nights would wind down with a captivating fire in the fire pit. The stores were a brief ride down the street, as well as a couple of restaurants, and even golf was not too far away, with even more courses available if you wanted to drive a bit further. All in all, a great place to escape the hustle and bustle of the work world, and to slow life down a bit and get some well-deserved R & R! Great for the whole family.
