Our four-season cottage is located on the Northern shore of Crooked Lake only minutes from Petoskey and Harbor Springs and is situated to provide breathtaking views of sunrises over the lake. Bring your own boat or rent one from a nearby marina. Crooked Lake offers great fishing and a full variety of water sports. Crooked lake is also the starting point of the famous northern Michigan Inland Waterway. From here you can travel many miles through a series of rivers and lakes that include Crooked River, Burt Lake, Indian River, Mullet Lake, Cheboygan River, and into Lake Huron. This is a very enjoyable trip, which includes the opportunity to experience a couple small locks, villages and wildlife along the way. The cottage is located across from Oden Island and a beautiful sandbar that is one of the most popular swimming areas on the lake. The area has many championship golf courses and great restaurants. This cottage is within a resort and offers two shared docks, fish house,

fire pit.

Cottage is right on the lake front so beautiful sunrises
and cool breezes at night.
Parking for our cars was tight but since other cottatges were
vacant that week we had room.
Cottage had all kitchen untensils available and bed linen
was provided so all you need is your food.
We had such a relaxing week were renting again this year.
Swimming was done on the sand bar which is a stone
throw away but have to take a boat to get there.
Recommended for:  Families with Young Children

This cottage is charming! The views from the house are spectacular. The house was very clean. Everything you might need is provided. Multiple cleaners were available to keep the home tidy during the stay. The water is very shallow but there is a bit of a drop at the edge... at least for my 14 month old who ran straight for it every chance he had! Some of the decor is a little outdated. I'm pretty picky though...and I really didn't care. The view was wonderful! I felt very comfortable and could have stayed another week! I would stay here again most definitely!
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Adventure Seekers, Girls Getaway, Sightseeing, Families with Teenagers, Families with Young Children, Romantic Getaway
