Condo, 2 Bedrooms + Other (See Description), 2 Baths, (Sleeps 4-6)

Tanglewood 17, our home away from home on the beach. Our condo is located in the privately owned Tanglewood complex, adjacent to Rathtrevor Provincial Park, just 25 minutes north from Nanaimo.

This 1100 sf, upper unit overlooks the park and beach and is just steps from this gorgeous beach. The Condo has 2 bedrooms with 1 king and 1 queen and 2 full bathrooms. It is fully equipped including an in-suite laundry with washer and dryer. There are 2 decks, a gas BBQ and 1 covered parking available.

Within a 15 minute drive of Tanglewood are:

Shops and services of Parksville and Qualicum Beach

Convenient transportation connections to and from the region via ferries,

road, rail, air and bus

5 golf courses from beginner to championship level

3 provincial parks with many hikes

3 marinas for access to kayaking, sailing, fishing and marine tours

Many family attractions including mini-golf, fish hatchery, underground caverns and exotic gardens.

Renowned as one of the best beaches in Canada, Rathtrevor allows for hours of beachcombing and swimming, a great beach for kids.

Most Beautiful Beachfront Condo!

This location in the Tanglewood complex is a complete escape. It is an elegantly appointed condo complete with every amenity from a BBQ to a fantastic flat screen TV. However, we preferred the magnificent view to the park, beach and ocean. Visitors don't need to bring a thing! There are boogie boards, a fantastic box kite and sand shovels galore! The beds are wonderful pillow tops with cozy duvet covers. From board games to beach towels to a washer and dryer, this get away is a tranquil, beautifully appointed retreat!! And as a final treat...the late night views from the condo's main room large window, of the moon, and the moon reflecting off the ocean, are breathtaking!

Great Family Stay!

We had a wonderful and relaxing stay here last week. There is plenty of room for our family of four and the in-house amenities certainly exceeded our expectations. The views of the park and the water are beautiful and serene with a great feeling of privacy and seclusion.

At the same time, it is just so very close to the beach! We have a 23 month-old and a 4 month-old so we really appreciated the one-minute walk to the waterfront-- lots of digging and swimming and kite-flying and just having a grand old time.

The renting process was very easy and facilitated by a thoughtful, courteous, prompt and engaged property owner. Highly recommended.

Our experience here has surpassed all expectations. The location is perfect - quiet yet convenient, with great walking opportunities. The condo is beautiful and Lisa has been extremely helpful. We will have no hesitation in returning for an extended stay.

This suite was situated a short walk from the beach. The clear view of the ocean from the living room window was great. The surroundings were quiet and peaceful, accommodating our wish to relax and get some RnR. The location lent itself to walks in neighboring Rathtrevor Provincial Park as well as along the ocean front. The location is also central to other activities within a short driving distance. The suite itself was neat and tidy and well appointed, with all the amenities required for a wonderful week away from home. We highly recommend this getaway.

Tanglewood 17 is a most wonderful property. It is immaculate and furnished with elegant comfort. You want to take great care of it, but not afraid to put your feet up!. The owner has furnished it with style and thoughtful details... Many evenings we had family card games at the dining room table. The beds were very comfortable and the bathrooms, spotless. The kitchen was completely equiped for any cooking adventure. The upstairs porch was a nice retreat, for my husband and myself, or for my teenagers, and perfect for viewing the stars at night. Rathtrevor beach is spectacular and we enjoyed many wonderful hours on the beach, and long walks. . Also very close to shopping. By the time we left, Tanglewood felt like it belonged to us!
