Supreme location on the ocean. Sunrises, sunsets, sandcastles --this area of Atlantic Beach is second to none for relaxing on the Crystal Coast. Stroll down to Fort Macon State Park. Watch sea gulls trail boats seeking Spanish mackerel just off the shore OR walk over to the marinas and catch a ride!

This classic beach cottage has been cherished by close friends and relatives of the same family for four decades. Lots of unforgotten memories have been made here. Enjoy ping-pong in the game room, count the boats on the water from the kitchen table or just take it slow on the expansive deck. This is a dynamite place for nice folks to get away from it all.

No smoking, please!

Atlantic Beach is the closest Bogue Banks settlement to Shackleford and the Cape Lookout National Seashore. The two islands are separted only by Beaufort Inlet. The eastern most end of the island features Fort Macon State Park, a well-preserved example of a bunker-style, Confederate post- taken by Union troops in 1862. Beaufort Inlet--known also for having swallowed Black Beard's flagship, the Queen Anne's Revenge, in the early 16th century-- serves recreation and commercial fishermen, alike, as well as cargo tankers accessing the NC state port of Morehead City. The region is widely recognized as the southernmost section of North Carolina's pristine Outer Banks.

Lovely Cottage

The "Miss Grace" was perfect for our recent stay with extended family.
We loved jogging and walking on the beach and watching the surfers.
The ping-pong table was especially enjoyed by all.
The house was clean and comfortable and Todd was extremely kind and helpful.

We had a blast in the Turner cottage!! It is very convenient, the beach is wonderful there, and easy to access. We plan to go back next summer! It is with-in walking distance of the pier (which has great breakfasts and lots of interesting characters!!), and several great restaurants. Todd has done a really nice job recently of upgrading the cottage and you know there have lots of great times there! Looking forward to next year! Thanks Todd for your very professional and convenient handling of this! A pleasure doing business with you and "Miss Grace"!

Lost in the Ocean Air

Lower level provides a great retreat for younger kids. Not only for recreation but for early bed times where they aren't disturbed by adults enjoying the late night hours. Easy, short walk to the waves. Invaluable for replenishing refreshments on the beach & the many trips "over the mountain" (sand dunes) the toddlers like to make back to the cottage. Rare to find an older cottage with a great deck elevated enough to allow a complete view of the breaking waves & kids playing on the beach. No disappointments here. A great escape!

Perfect home for a family getaway or reunion!

Management was great to work with, house was more than we hoped for and the street has a really nice family-friendly atmosphere. Easy beach access, and easy walk to the pier and other activities...

The pictures don't do the place justice. We will reserve this house again.
