Marineland Vacation Rental cottage

We had so much fun here! The house has everything you would need. The house was clean and cozy. We enjoyed sitting on the back porch every morning with our tea and watching the lizards. There is a wonderful park right up the road with amazing vegetation. The beach is a short walk but it was very enjoyable. The beach itself is clean and very private. The tourist type of events are only a half hour away in St. Augustine.

I would recommend this property to anyone who wants a quiet relaxing time.

We rented the vacation home for a two day beach adventure as we are all from South Georgia and don't get to go to the beach much and also to go and enjoy the Coca-Cola 500 on July 5th. This vacation home was exactly what we were looking for with NO unexpected Surprises at all. We were a large family group of 10 adults and 2 kids. We had plenty of sleeping room with using the sofa sleeper and an air mattress and the huge chairs in the living room for the 2 kids. There were plenty of towels and beach towels. Believe this there was plenty of HOT WATER for all 12 of us to bath. We all loved the shower in the master bathroom it would massage your back while you showered it's just a gem you will have to see if you rent this vacation home. Unforgettable. The provided washer and dryer was a jewel since we had a large group. Everything was just as Susan (the owner) had described it would be and so much more. It's just a great place for any type of vacation. The beach was fantastic not crowded at all as we thought it would be for the 4th of July. No traffic noise at night even though the home was just off A1A. The stay was GREAT and we are all hoping to come back next year. We recommend this vacation home to anyone who wants a clean, nice, homey place to stay and relax and have a blast in Florida no matter what the vacation is for.

Feels very remote due to wooded area surrounding immediate vicinity of house, especially at night. Night sky full of stars with no nearby city lights. Beach is a nice stroll away, maybe 1/4 mi, if that. Large utility wagon to haul everything you need.Found another beach road with restrooms, shower and parking right at beach about 3 miles away while riding bikes around on the area's fantastic bike path. More than enough beach and house towels. Lots of beach toys and chairs provided. While outside is rustic; inside is updated and very clean. St. Augustine is 1/2 hr drive away. Supermarket, which is very clean and enjoyable to shop at, about 2 mi away. Even I, a light sleeper, didn't hear the traffic from A1A, due to a small area preserved by the county between the house and the roadway. I can't wait to go back and stay longer. Susan(owner) said all I needed was my toothbrush, but even found a new packaged one of those in one of the bathrooms. There was assortment of shampoo, soap, paper products, and cleaning supplies; an unexpected bonus. This is definitely a hidden gem. Budget friendly and great value; I shopped around all along the East coast and not many were comparable.
