Outdoor adventures abound on this vacation property featuring a fully furnished 2300 log style home on a private pond and 108 acres. A smaller, more rustic guest cabin is also available for additional sleeping space. The pond, just a few steps from the front porch, offers swimming, fishing, canoeing/kayaking, and a paddleboat. The site was formerly a licensed campground and still has horseshoe pits, a picnic pavillion and fire pits. Facilities are available for keeping renters' horses on site. The trails are maintained throughout the property and can be used for hiking, biking, snowshoeing, cross-country skiing, horseback riding, hunting, snowmobiling, or ORV use. The property abuts the Huron National Forest offering miles of additional trails and countless activities. The property is located north of the AuSable River and south of the town of Glennie.

This Private Log Home is located adjacent to the Huron National Forest offering access to miles of scenic trails for hiking, biking, snowmobiling, cross country skiing, horse back riding and hunting. The AuSable River is only a few miles away where many enjoy canoeing, tubing, and fishing. The nearest town is Glennie, which is host to Alcona Dam Pond, an all sports lake suitable for boating, tubing, water skiing, and fishing. Several other accessible lakes are in the area. Public Golf Course is a short drive (3 miles). For Trail Riders, this property is close to the Shore-to Shore trail.

We arrived on New Years eve and were so excited to arrive to the best kept secret in the Gennie area. Everything met our expectations. What an amazing place to be even in the Winter. Lots of exploring to do even when it is 22 degrees outside. This is a must destination for us in the future!

Great Vacation

Everything was beautiful, had some problems with the fridge leaking water but other then that, this was the best vacation I have had in a long time. Made me dread coming home again. You cannot get a better nature setting then this. Very relaxing, pond was ABSOLUTLEY clean and beautiful. Fishing was a blast. Put rod in and out came a fish!

The pedal boat and canoe were great for the kids. Randy is great to deal with and hopefully we can make it back again next year,
