This charming 1000 square foot cottage is quaint, welcoming and exceptionally clean. Come sit on the deck, soak in the hot tub, and enjoy over 200’ of private river frontage in front of a campfire, or sit on the double swing overlooking our two small waterfalls and ..... discover the magic of Hickory Nut Creek! Creekside Cottage is a most serene and beautiful place. Although Chimney Rock State Park is only a 3 minute drive with Asheville only 20 miles away, being in the Bat Cave/Chimney Rock area is like being on vacation year round. Relaxing on a half acre of frontage on Hickory Creek is something we would like to share with you since we think it's the best view of the Creek in Hickory Nut Gorge and one of the most private. Creekside Cottage is for small, intimate groups and quiet gatherings suitable for 2-6 people. The Cottage has one king-size bed, a double bed in the second bedroom. Chimney Rock/ Lake Lure attractions: : The town of Chimney Rock has many quaint stores and restaurants with the entrance to Chimney Rock State Park right in the middle of town. The historic park has many hiking trails as well as the 404 ft. Hickory Nut Falls. Lake Lure (5-10 minutes away) offers tours of the lake and dinner cruises while also renting canoes, kayaks, pontoon, paddle, and electric boats. The Beach at Lake Lure provides bumper boats, water slides, water cannons and other water games. Riverside Riding Stables are located just 8 miles east of Chimney Rock and are open 7 days a week.

Hendersonville/Flat Rock attractions: : Hendersonville offers many unique stores and shops with a beautiful Main Street atmosphere . There are a variety of restaurants and antique stores also surrounding the downtown area. The Flat Rock Play House offers some wonderful plays throughout the summer season. Asheville attractions: Asheville is only 20 minutes from Chimney Rock and offers a wide variety of things to do and see.
