St. Augustine Beach Vacation Rental condo

Our family of 5 stayed in this condo while we were in Florida recently. The description and pictures shown are very accurate. The beach and pier are very close. Unfortunately circumstances dictated we visit there in August with 96 degree temperatures and 100% humidity so we enjoyed the air conditioner instead of opening the sliding doors to hear the ocean. I must say for us folks from the north, the air conditioner was vital and worked well. Donna who handled the details for the owner was very helpful including sending us a map and of how to get to St Augustine and the condominium. We did have some issues with the cleanliness and the fact some supplies were missing, but Donna also responded to this immediately. The beds in the bedrooms were great, but the rollaway was not comfortable for anyone in our party. We did spend a lot of time on the beach, morning and evening walks and swimming in the afternoon. We did notice as we walked around that there are many condominiums that are quite a distance from the beach and although there is access at the end of every road to the beach it can be quite a stroll just to get to the beach which is something to consider. This condo is one of the closest to the beach in this area. The tile floors are actually perfect when you are spending a great deal of time in the sand like we did since no matter how you try, some always seems to be carried into the condominum. This condo is actually great if you have children since you do not feel like you cannot allow your children to be kids in the unit. It was quiet and we did not hear any other folks when we were inside even though we saw people staying all around us. We would rent this condo again, but select a different time of year. We did tour the city and St. Augustine has some interesting things to do.
