Designed and built by a furniture-maker, 'The Porch House' is the larger of two side-by-side dwellings in a two family arts and crafts style house. There is a sound proof party wall between! Relax on your own private porch and enjoy the quiet wooded surroundings in this secluded bungalow haven. Tucked away on a private drive and set back a block away from Bradford St, you'll still only be 1-1/2 blocks from the bay, a 5 minute walk to the gallery district, and a 10 minute walk to town center. From the porch, you will enter the large open-plan 1st floor. The light filled living/dining area is paneled in traditional bead-board, and opens to a generous kitchen with stone counter tops and new appliances Two equal size cathedral ceiling bedrooms and both bathrooms are on the air conditioned 2nd floor. Hardwood floors are throughout, except in the tiled bathrooms. Private outdoor shower. Parking for 2 mid size cars is adjacent to the house. Pets considered.

Provincetown is perched on the uppermost tip of Cape Cod. In the summer, the population of this quaint fishing village swells to 30,000. 'P-Town,' attracts a cosmopolitan mix of people and is a haven for artists, writers, actors, and musicians. A vibrant nightlife is offered for both gays and straights. A stroll through town will take visitors past and eclectic mix of historic sights, tourist shops, and clusters of, picturesque homes surrounded by flower gardens. On a clear day, it is possible to have a 360° view of the entire Cape from the top of Pilgrim Monument. There are miles of ocean and bay beaches in Provincetown and the many walking and biking trails in the protected National Seashore provide visitors with views of ponds, cranberry bogs, beech forests, and sand dunes. Whale watching, sailing, and fishing trips depart daily from the harbor.

Perfect location for a peaceful vacation

Want to chill out, go to the beach, take a nice refreshing outside shower and grill/cook and just kick back and relax in a tranquil setting? Well you just rented the perfect place. Forgot to pack refreshment, no problem just walk a few blocks to the corner store. Feel like spicing it up a bit? Then take a walk to town and find whatever will tickle your fancy. Without questions the location of this house offers the ability to enjoy the best of both worlds.

The house is surrounded by trees which allow a great breeze at night for sleeping. It's just so inviting and you won't find a more accomodating owner.

Can't wait to return!!!!!!
