Wilson Cabin Rental Photos and Description

Cabin, 1 Bedroom + Convertible bed(s), 1 Bath, (Sleeps 4)

CHECK OUR GIANT GUESTBOOK OF FEEDBACK FROM RENTERS--Everyone is completely charmed. You will not find another place like this ANYWHERE!

This cabin truly is in the BEST LOCATION in Jackson Hole. Close to JH Mountain Resort, with direct 8 minute bus service to the slopes. The same bus takes you to downtown. All the services you could possibly want are readily available.

When you walk in through the gate of this rustic paradise, you enter a world unto itself. Yet outside the gate you’re in the most sought after neighborhood in the Rocky Mountain West! The rental is attached to our French inspired log home.

We maintain the cabin in accordance with the criteria as set forth by the Partnership for Global Sustainable Tourism. These criteria were designed for larger organizations, so we adapt them to our situation (one of a kind rental) and adhere as closely as we can to these criteria. Questions welcome, or check them out by doing a Google search for Partnership for Global Sustainable Tourism.

One bedroom, huge deck, great gardens (including a small stream and pond). Old world window hardware, claw foot tub, floor-to-ceiling barn sash windows in bathroom. Small rooms, low ceilings, exposed log perlins, plank floors and ceilings, hand scribed chinking. It is rustic and real with artistic touches and is truly unique. The adorable cabin is filled with maps, books, brochures, coupons, recommendations, insider tips and more. The plethora of nooks and crannies, and sense of abundance, belie the small carbon footprint of this green building and garden. The garden is completely chemical free, so children and grownups alike can feel great about exploring the nooks and crannies there. Also enjoy the playground and organic vegetable gardens adjacent to the property.

We continually upgrade and improve the cabin. Recent improvements include a new kitchen, additional cooking equipment, an 85 year old carved Belgian sofa, plush Nepali rugs and always professional detail cleaning. Sealy Posturpedic mattress/box spring set, and luxury down bedding with king pillows, cozy blankets await you for the most comfortable and luxurious sleep ever!! The place sparkles!!

We had a wonderful vacation and stay at this location. My wife, I and 11 year old son enjoyed cabin. It was the right size for us, a moose walked down the pathway several mornings. We had a fire in pit one evening. Hosts were pleasant and respected our privacy. Everything needed for an outsanding trip were supplied.

Lovely Retreat

  • 5 of 5

This is a lovely property, clean and welcoming. There was complete privacy, we only saw the owners once, but they were extremely easy to communicate with via email. Our seven year old son was enchanted by the property and he loved his own sleeping area downstairs. The basket of goodies and wine left by the owners was thoughtful. Location was perfect for us as we drove south for a fishing trip then spent much of our time in both Teton (right next door) and Yellowstone (about 60 miles), and was so convenient to Jackson. We loved Wyoming and this property was a great haven after long, adventurous days. Thanks Beth and Phil for giving us a home away from home as we explored Wyoming.

What a great week!

  • 5 of 5

Leanne and I had a great time at the cabin owned by Phil and Beth. It was exactly as advertised. Beth and Phil are very gracious owners and really want their guests to enjoy their stay. They went out of their way to make us feel welcome and to share much of their local knowledge so that we could get the full Jackson Hole experience. The accomadations were quaint, clean, and cozy. It was perfect for us! We would recommend this cabin to anyone who is looking for a nice getaway with easy access to the Grand Teton National Park, Teton Village, downtown Jackson, and only about 6o miles from Yellowstone. We would do it again in a hearbeat!!

Tranquility awaits you in this delightful log cabin!

As newlyweds, my husband and I needed a relaxing and romantic getaway.

Every aspect of this cabin is exquisite and inviting. A basket of cheese, wine, cracker and apples welcome us upon arrival. Phil and Beth have done an amazing job providing everything that you could possibly be need. The Cabin is purely exquisite, down to the sleek modern kitchen to the quaint, antique and rustic charm. The soft lighting provided warmth and relaxation. The cozy cabin is tucked away and is surrounding with trees which provide a calming peaceful feeling.

We found the perfect place! On a scale of 1-10 this rates a 10!

Looking forward to our return!

My husband and I stayed in Beth and Phil's cabin for our honeymoon. We could not have imagined just how perfect it turned out to be! Secluded yet minutes from everything! Exactly what we wanted! This cabin is perfect in every way, down to the details - and the owners pay attention to every little detail! Thank you so much for making our honeymoon the special trip we wanted it to be. We've been having withdrawals ever since we left! We fell in love with your cabin but especially fell in love with Jackson! It surely is a special place to be! Oh! and your kitchen remodel looks great!

Absolutely Charming Cabin!

  • 5 of 5

It has been a little over two weeks since my husband and I stayed at this lovely cabin, and already I am feeling the need to return. This cabin has lots of personality and oozes charm! It is, by far, one of the most unique places we have stayed. The history of the house is quite interesting. We fell in love with the place immediately! Beth and Phil have done an amazing job with the cabin. It is very rustic feeling, but has all the modern comforts you could possibly want. It is beautifully decorated and there are all sorts of nice touches throughout (I especially loved the chocolates on the pillow!). There was also a very nice welcome basket full of goodies on the table when we arrived, which was quite thoughtful and very much appreciated! The location in perfect for visiting the towns of Jackson and Wilson, and for exploring Grand Teton National Park. We were only there for three nights, but would love to come back and stay longer next time! Beth was very helpful in offering advice as I was planning our trip to Yellowstone and the Tetons. We didn't see much of Beth and Phil, but when we did meet them, they were both very friendly and welcoming. It is obvious that they truly love their home. They also respect the privacy of their guests, but are right next door if needed. I would highly recommend this cabin to anyone looking for a beautiful, rustic, charming, enchanting, cozy (so many adjectives to describe this place!), and ideally located place to stay. The scenery and wildlife in this part of our country is like no other. Simply spectacular! Thank you, Beth, Phil, Wilden and Ranier for sharing part of your lovely home with us.

Before environmentally friendly building was a popular idea, this property was built by serious mountaineer/artists and designed to maximize the insulating qualities of logs, the southern light, water use/reuse, and other energy saving and aesthetic qualities of the site. The magic walk beneath three hundred year old spruce down a fairy-light path (leaving the road and cars behind) allows cares and constraints to fall away. The garden is a trick mirror of space relationships—taller than it is wide or long—with a pond and little bridge. Excellent soil has created itself from decades of slough from the abundance of huge trees.
