This comfortably designed 2-story log cabin is conducive to relaxation and experiencing Smoky Mountain living at its best. From the rustic hardwood floors, open beam ceilings and stone fireplaces, you'll feel like you've stepped into a wilderness wonderland. Enjoy a home-cooked meal in the fully equipped kitchen with dining area, or snuggle up with a good book in front of the fireplace-there are two of them! When you're not hiking in the hills or taking advantage of the nearby shopping in Gatlinburg, engage in a friendly game of pool or Foosball. Unwind on one of the two decks or indulge in a nice long soak in the covered, outdoor hot tub. The master suite features a king-sized bed, an over sized Jacuzzi tub and fireplace. For those who need access to Internet - we have recently added high speed Internet. This 'High Haven' retreat is less than 5 minutes from the heart of Gatlinburg and entrance of National Park.

High Haven is located close to downtown Gatlinburg - directly off Ski Mountain Road less than 5 min from the entrance of the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. Guest will find driving access to our cabin easy throughout the year. Guests will enjoy the secluded and authentic cabin feel of our place while being pampered on the luxurious surroundings. Visitors can enjoy nearby Dollywood (about 15-20min drive), or Pigeon Forge theatres (15-20 min drive). Additional points of interest are Cades Cove, Sugarland Ranger Station and Allum Cave Bluffs. For the adventurous -- guests can take a 45 - 55 min drive over the mountain to Cherokee NC and try their hand at gambling at Harrah's Cherokee Casino. Tubing is also available in the town of Townsend which is located on Hwy 321 south.

My husband and I had a wonderful time at your cabin; it was very nice and clean and was easily accessible to everything that we wanted to do. We really enjoyed the hot tub and the first night we were there in the hot tube we saw deer walk beside the cabin. Everything was wonderful and would definitely recommend cabin to others

Great Cabin!

We just returned from our stay here in High Haven and it was wonderful! The cabin is so cozy and so much like home....it had everything you could possibly need for a great vacation. I love the master bedroom downstairs and especially the jacuzzi tub. We plan to return again soon and we will definitley plan to stay here!

It was a GREAT stay....

My husband and I, and our 2 kids (5 & 11) stayed in High Haven cabin on 10/24 & 10/25-09. Our 3 days in the cabin were great. We thoroughly enjoyed the pool table, all of the amenities, and especially the hot-tub. It is a very beautiful & unique cabin, very private, and as we've had previous experience with, not a pain to get to from Gatlinburg. It was also very very clean. I enjoyed it being close to downtown, and not having our evenings and mornings consumed with a 20 minute drive down the mountain! It is everything we could ever ask for, and we had a great time, just being able to play Monopoly and whatever else we wanted. I thought it was nice that this is the only cabin we've stayed at that has movies and soooo many games. The owners are VERY thoughtful to the items that you may have at home to entertain yourself with. We had a VERY SLIGHT issue with the hot-tub temperature, but the owners and the maintenance were VERY helpful with fixing the situation and letting us know what was going on. They are very quick to respond and very helpful. That's rare! They are to be commended, because there are alot of places that wont do that sort of thing. (we know from experience!)

returning from a 3 night stay and we couldn't ask for a better location. In the woods but yet close to downtown Gatlinburg. We really enjoyed the hot tub on the deck and just sitting on the deck listening to the birds. High Haven was clean and everything was in order when we got there. We will be back and again, we had a blast. Thanks again ! ! !

Absolutely Lovely!

We just got back from our 3 night stay at your cabin. I must say we were a little nervous about booking online, but we were absolutely thrilled once we opened the door! You're cabin is very homey and absolutely lovely! The decor is beautiful and very, very comfortable. Anything and everything we needed to cook was there for us already. My husband was in shock when he saw the bedroom. He said he never expected anything that luxurious. We made good use of the pool table. My son didn't want to come because he thought he'd be bored but once he saw the game tables he was in heaven and was sad to leave!

The only reason I didn't rate the property as excellent was because of an issue I have, not necessarily a cabin issue. Anyway, mosquito's love me... I mean, in a group of 10 people I'll have 50 bites and everyone else has one. Because of that, I was unable to enjoy using the decks at all, which sadly included the hot tub. I wish that the section the hot tub was in had some kind of screening but I'm sure most people wouldn't have any issue with that at all. If you are looking for a place that is set back out of town but yet close enough to town to enjoy all the activities this place is it. You won't regret it. If you want a cabin with a mountain view, this place does not, but it more than makes up for it in price and comfort/amenities inside!
