enjoyed the time with family ~ however our A/C went out twice we followed the instructions as posted to keep the doors closed and thermostat 74* of course NO service calls on weekends nor after 9 p.m. :( the oven door doesnt close the fridge leaked so without all the issues it was enjoyable to be with family

Owner's Response: I was suprised to read this review. I think everyone is aware that appliances somtimes act up. Thats not a suprise. The suprise was not what was written, but what was NOT written. The readers ( future guests) are lead to believe that my Mgmt. Co. did nothing to solve the problems and left the guests the entire weekend without A/C. This is NOT what happened. It is not fair to imply that.Reasonable efforts were taken to correct the problem . One might also think that the oven and Fridge were not useable during the stay. Again, not the case.
I was informed about the A/C problem at the time. The office was notified late Sat. night there was an A/C problem. It was too late to get an A/C Tech so the Maint. Mgr personnaly went to the condo first thing Sunday morn. The coil was iced-up so he de- iced it, reset the temp to the posted summer setting of 76, and the unit worked fine. It ran through the weekend and then froze up again late Monday night. A service Tech checked the unit out the next morning. He again de-iced the coils, reset the temp to the desired 76 setting, and the unit has run fine since.
There is a posting in every condo to set the control at 76 and to not run the A/C with doors open. Freeze-up can occur if this is not followed. The review said the doors were kept closed and the temp set at 74 ( OK) Since the unit had no prior history of ice-up and has run fine since, it remains a mystery why it iced -up. I don't think it was a fair evaluation to not point out the efforts that were taken to resolve the problem and , by ommision, imply nothing was done.
The oven was usable throughout the stay but did have a poor seal from not closing properly. New hinges were to be installed at guest turnover time. Then it was found the only problem was the drip pan was not put in right and interferred with closing. Problem solved. The "leaky" fridge was nothing more than a plugged condensation drip drain, fixed in a few minutes. Records indicate the office was not notified about this until checkout.
I want to make it clear we do appreciate when guests bring problems to our attention so they can be fixed. I thank the guests for reporting these problems. I also hope this response assures future guests the condo is kept in repair and we are responsive to their problems. I also hope by my pointing out what was NOT in the review that the reader will agree the review is somewhat misleading and that such a poor rating is not warranted.
