December on the Beach

My wife, daughter, son in law and I stayed here on the beach for 5 days in December and loved it.
My brother, his wife and son drove down and joined us for the weekend... there was plenty of room and the pool and foosball tables kept everyone well occupied. The big screen TV and surround sound stereo setup was awesome to watch the weekend football games.
Location was fantastic as we also visited with more family and friends in Seal Beach, Lake Forest and Huntington Beach, all within scenic drives. The John Wayne airport is approximately 15-20 mins away, making our arrival and departure easy.
A quick walk north from the condo was the pier at Newport, various shops and Charlie's Chili are there... and Balboa is close, too. We visited the Pavilion Grocery store on the way for necessities when we first arrived, we actually bought too much food, drinks and snacks! There are lots of good restaurants in the area, we recommend Charlie's as well as Cappy's, it's famous for breakfast. We also ordered and picked up some very good pizza from Gina's Pizza, next door to the Pavilion.
The apt. was perfect for us and we will definitely consider it again... maybe in the summer next time. It was even better than we expected... we give very high marks to the entire destination and accommodations. The one car garage came in very handy, as there were cars parked in the 6 or 7 spaces on the side consistently.
The property manager, Julio made making all the arrangements quite easy, he was very accommodating.
