Eighteen The Battery, located in the award winning seaside The Village Tannin, will delight you with its 'turn of the century' charm, and is the perfect spot to relax and replenish your spirit. This Victorian cottage is located on one of TANNIN’s many lakes and features three large porches overlooking Gulf State Park and the Gulf of Mexico for outdoor relaxing. There is an Olympic-sized Swimming Pool with spacious decks for water games and sun bathing. The Gulf of Mexico is just steps away. Indoors cable TV, WIFI, hard wired Broadband, and whole house audio offer electronic entertainment. The house is tastefully decorated and features a professional Kitchen with Viking appliances,a farm house sink, and Carrera Marble counter tops that will bring out the Chef in you. In addition, the first floor contains the Dining Room, Powder Room, and a Large Family Room with lots of windows that offer views of the surrounding state park and the lake.

The second floor contains the large Master Bedroom with a queen size Sleep Number mattress for added comfort. The private Master Bathroom features a Clawfoot Champagne Massage Slipper Tub, Carrera Marble Counter tops with Vintage fixtures, and a shower finished in subway tile. Also located on this floor is another Bedroom that features a large Bay Window with a window seat that could serve as a bed for a small child. A Hall Bathroom and a Laundry Room complete this floor. The Tower Room on the third floor is my favorite spot to sit back and totally relax. I have spent hours watching the Gulf of Mexico or stunning sunsets from this room. It's a great spot for a book and a cold drink. There is a daybed for two on this floor, a pub game table for two, and a built in bookshelf complete with reading chair and floor lamp. If outdoor relaxation is more your style there are 3 covered porches with ocean breezes and views of the lake, Gulf State Park, and the Gulf of Mexico.

Unique setting, spacious accommodations and state-of-the-art amenities, all wrapped up in lovely southern-style decor. Minutes to the gulf and close to shopping, restaurants and everything else your heart desires. We enjoyed our stay very much and hope to return some day.

Wonderful house, wonderful setting, wonderful scenery! Our family stayed here mid-June and we loved the high quality facilities that the house offered. It was a pleasure to stay in such a beautiful home and we take home very happy memories. Would love to visit again some day!

We stayed in this lovely home during Memorial Day Week and had a wonderful time. Everything about this house is wonderful! We would love to stay there again and would recommend it to everyone. The owners are very nice and considerate. Well worth the $ My grandson said it was a mansion!!

We visited this property in Aug. 2007. It was everything it said and more. We had a wonderful time. It was just like being at home. I would recommend it to anyone. We will stay there again some day.
