Paradise Resort Condo Amenities: Paradise Resort amenities include indoor and outdoor heated pool, lazy river, kids pool, hot tub, fully equipped on-site exercise room, kids center, poolside tiki bar, restaurant, and a convenience store, which will be open in Spring 2007. Paradise Resort is the only resort on Myrtle Beach with enclosed air-conditioned hallways.

Good the bad and the could have been (snowbirds)

Description of property was correct and accom. were very good. Front desk personnel excellent, friendly. Mgmt. very poor, do not relate well to customers. Indoor/outdoor pool very iratic temperature control. During winter months far too many days the indoor outdoor pool was cold and unable to be used. Reporting this to mgmt. was a waste of energy. If this was looked after I feel that an overall excellent rating would have been given. Guests renting not through the front desk were treated like second class citizens.

My husband and I just returned from Paradise Resort in Myrtle Beach where we rented a condo from Don. Upon entering the condo, it was for a lack of a better term gross. The shower curtain had mold all over it which we replaced because it was so disgusting. Inside of the coffee pot looked like it had never been cleaned. We spent two hours of our vacation cleaning the room before we felt comfortable just being in it. To make matters worse, on Thursday, August 28, 2008, I was alone in the condo when the cleaning lady barged into the room wanting to know why I was there and no one should be there and she was told to clean the room Thursday, Friday and Saturday. I told her I had an e-mail from Don stating we rented the condo until August 30th. She demanded my name which I gave to her and she left stating she was going to call Don. She came back a few minutes later handing me a note to call Don for payment. I told her I had an e-mail from Don stating he received our payment in full and asked her if she wanted to see it. She said no just call Don. I immediately called Don and told him he sent us an e-mail stating he received our payment in full and he sent us the code to the lock box. He stated he didn’t know how we paid and he removed our name from the reservation. I again told him he sent us an e-mail stating he received our payment in full. He stated everything was ok. However, everything was not ok. The whole situation was very stressful and disturbing. To have people barge in on you and accuse you of not paying when you have an e-mail confirming payment is absurd. Stay at your own risk.
