About the Cottage:
We built our home in 2000. It offers a nice combination of rustic charm, but with all the modern amenities. It's a great place to spend some quiet time, or get on the water and explore Maine's coastline in a small boat.
Tondreau Point is a great family environment. The homes are all recently built or rennovated. This is a great place for adults to relax in privacy or for a family with young children to throw a ball, shoot some baskets or ride a bike.
Nearby Amenities:
The Harpswell Public Tennis courts are about a 15 minute drive. There are several nearby public golf courses including: Brunswick Naval Airstation, Brunswick, Topsham and Bath Country Clubs. Kayaks can be rented at the Bailey Island bridge. They give lessons there. It's worth the trip just to see the famous crib bridge. There are many restaurants nearby either out on Bailey Island, South Harpswell, or back into town in Brunswick. Freeport is the home of L.L. Bean and numerous other designer outlets for the shopping enthusiast.
About Tondreau Point:
Tondreau Point is a private family community. The end of the point offers outstanding views of Quahog Bay and tidal pools. The small island 50 feet off the point is accessible at low tide. The point is broken into two forks and is a great place to walk or take the kids for a bike ride. You'll love the friendly atmosphere of the residents and their friends. It's a place you can easily get hooked on.
