The station house is in an extraordinary location bordering natural open space which extends from the property boundary 800 feet to the ocean. Enjoy breathtaking ocean and harbor views from western and northern windows. A 3 minute walk gets you to a spectacular 7-mile-long beach (see picture below). Beginning at the northern end of this property there is a 5-mile paved bicycle/walking trail along the ocean extending to the Harbor. Just north of the Harbor lies the famous Mavericks surfing spot, and just north of that begins the 2-mile-long stunning Fitzgerald Marine Reserve. To the south of the station house there are walking trails through 400 acres of open space populated by raptors, great horn owls, foxes, white egrets and other wonderful critters. Out the front door east it is a 7-minute walk to Half Moon Bay’s downtown Main Street.
Enjoy sunsets from the backyard deck while soaking in the hot tub. The deck overlooks a large garden with many varieties of coastal and flowering plants, all of which borders open space extending to the ocean. Let your well-behaved dog romp in our large enclosed dog yard with a pet-door access to the house.
Within a few minutes one has: Main Street shopping and excellent dining; two world-class golf links; a Ritz Carlton Hotel; hiking in the redwoods; bicycling, horseback riding and hiking on the bluffs above and along the beach; and surfing, swimming, kayaking, sport fishing, and whale watching.
