A four-level contemporary just minutes away from North Conway village, Echo Lake and the Saco River as well as outlet shopping, boutique shopping and antique shopping. This home is set back from a quiet road with winter views of Cathedral Ledge and Cranmore Mountain Ski area. Besides the three bedrooms, downstairs hosts a media room with a pull-out queen sota, a beautiful new billiards and ping-pong table, a 42' plasma HDTV, DVD player, internet hookup and dry bar. The loft has three beds and a sitting area with two sofas. All bedrooms have cable TV. A split-level deck has a new gas BBQ with tables and chairs in a private setting, an ideal location. Cozy up to the fireplace in the sunken living room. The Saco River is famous for canoing, kayaking and tubing with rental shops nearby. Storyland is 15 minutes away. There are five major ski areas nearby that offer both winter and summer activities.

North Conway is a four season destination with both downhill and cross-country skiing, hiking for all levels, canoeing/kayaking, Storyland Amusement Park, abundant scenic vistas, and major outlet shopping. Fall foliage attracts visitors from all over the world. Many major ski areas including Attitash/Bear Peak, Cranmore, Black, Great Glen Nordic, Wildcat and Bretton Woods are within 30 minutes of the house. Mt. Washington Auto Road and the Cog Railway are also located within 30 minutes. Over 50 restaurants, dozens of boutique shops, and an array of abundant night life activities are within a short drive from the house.

Seasonal Ski Rental: This fantastic ski house is a popular rental for the winter ski season. It is a short drive to six ski areas with both Cranmore and Attitash only 10 to 15 minutes away. The cozy fireplace, views of Cathedral Ledge and Cranmore, the media room with pool table and the loft make it very comfortable for a large family, or two!

Canoeing and tubing on the Saco: The Saco River meanders along for miles and miles with beautiful sandy beaches to pull over and enjoy the sun and a picnic. A steady, easy current with no whitewater means it is an easy paddle even with young children. Rentals of tubes, kayaks and canoes and transportation are available. The put-in is just 2 miles from the house.

Mt. Washington and Children's Activities: The famed Storyland is nearby. There is miniature golf, water-slides, the Scenic Railroad, the Weather Discovery Center, a miniature Railroad, and a children's playground with planned activities. Tourists flock to Mt. Washington to ride the Cog Railroad to the top of the highest peak in the east or to ride in a van with a guide or even drive yourself. From the peak on a clear day, you can view the Presidential Range and maybe catch a glimpse of the ocean. Hiking on Mt. Washington and spring skiing (walk up) also draw the brave and strong.

Great Winter Family Vacation!

We stayed here during Presidents' Week in February (4 people + dog) and thought the house and the surrounding area were lovely. The house is truly a home, is very well-decorated and feels lived-in and comfortable. The surrounding area also provided many winter activities - there are several places to do both downhill and cross-country skiing within a 30-minute drive of the house. North Conway is also a very charming and pleasant little town, with good outlet shopping and some unique stores (including one for dogs that we really loved). Overall, we had a very good vacation here and loved both the house as well as the surrounding area. We'd love to come back here again.

This vacation home was truly a blessing. It was very comfortable, clean, well-maintained, well-stocked with all the household necessities and then some. The neighborhood was quiet and a great place to walk every day. There are so many activities to do that were so close by - cycling, swimming, hiking, site-seeing, kayaking, restaurants including gluten-free ones, and shopping (outlets). Our family enjoyed it so much that we already made a deposit for next year's rental extending our stay to two weeks. Thank you for a most enjoyable and relaxing vacation!
