Quiet and Beautiful

This place is quiet and beautiful. Its a few miles up the road from the greatest beaches on earth, so you can't just walk to the water. The trade off is it is on the end of a dead end road so there is absolutly no traffic noise, and the grounds are incredible. We picked fresh tangerines and oranges for breakfast and fresh limes from the tree for our evening gin and tonic. There was a vase of fresh flowers in the room. The pool is great, but the spa is awsome. We wached the sunset over the ocean while enjoying the built in spa, and then the stars came out. Wow! The kitchen isn't set up for gourmet cooking, but it is adaquate. There is private enclosed parking, so we just left the beach stuff in the car. Starbucks is just down the hill built next to the local grocery, and we had a great time people watching while enjoying our morning java. From there we walked across the street to sharks cove if we felt like snorkeling, or a hundred yards to three tables for beach time. If you like walking it is another couple hundred yards to Waimea bay, which is one of my favorite places.
We live on the Big Island on the rainy side where there are no beaches, and we wanted to get away to the sun and sand on the North Shore of Oahu (far from Waikiki). We originally wanted a rental on the beach, but this was less money and more private, and we were gone most of the day anyway. It was a nice place to come home to, very comfortable. We would come back again.
