The Palm Villas is one of the smallest condo complexes in Mauna Lani Resort, with only 44 units in total, unlike most with over 100 units. The quaintness of the complex enables one to enjoy a peaceful time away from the rigor of daily life. The Palm Villas at Mauna Lani offers an incredible experience for the vacationer looking to get a real taste of “Hawaiiana”. Our condo sits on the sixteenth green of the Francis H. Ii Brown North Course. Watch golfers from the lanai while enjoying a Pina Coloda.

On the grounds of Mauna Lani is the resort's historic preserve with ancient shelter caves and walking trails surrounding fishpond preserves. Mauna Lani Resort was named the only US property in North America to be honored as one of the world's Top Luxury Eco-Friendly Beach Destinations in Condé Nast Traveler magazine's January, 2008 issue. Excellent VRBO experience on big island Hawaii

After a long search, I found this excellent 3 BR, 2 Bath condo in the Mauna Lani resort area (Palm Villas). Price was very good. Excellent home, very well kept, modern, near beach, good location. Had resort privileges as an owner. Very quiet. Excellent dealing with owner: professional, personable. The owner's booking conflict on last day of two week stay was very nicely resolved to our satisfaction. Excellent view of golf course from lanai.

Owner honestly and accurately revealed that there was on-going major remodeling of other units in complex. There was no noise or disturbance from that work. Contractor site was clean and orderly.

A beautiful Hawaiian home away from home

This is such a beautiful location and the view off the lani is so serene. We loved early mornings on the lani watching the sunrise.

The condo is clean, nicely decorated “island” style and has everything you will need for a great stay. The owner’s are great to work with and make sure that you have everything you need for a great vacation. The complex is beautifully maintained and is plush with tropical plants.

The condo is walking distance to the beach club. Every time we walked up to the beach we would just pause at how beautiful it was. Snorkeling is great there but if you don’t like to snorkel just walk and around the rocks and you will see so any colorful varieties of fish. Talk a walk toward the Mauna Lani hotel and you might find some big turtles napping on the beach.

Excellent Vacation spot

This was a wonderful condo for our week vacation. Everything was 100% accurate and the owners were a pleasure to work with. This was a girls getaway for four of us and more than enough room. We actually loved the quiet nature to this area over being in a large resort. Having the grill right on the patio was such a great plus. There are amazing beaches nearby and the beach club has a nice menu for dining. I would definitely recommend this condo to anyone heading to the big island.

Can I live here?

This is THE most romantic, exciting, adventures, unforgettable vacation our family has been blessed enough to take! This condo is the perfect place to come home to after days at the beach or walks to unknown places or drives to the opposite side of the island! The owners have made this stay just so perfect. I consider myself a vacation home expert and as far as value for your money, it doesn't get better than this. A+++++. I hope, pray, wish that our journeys bring us back to this unbelievable place!

this is the perfect rental for the kohala coast of the big island. twenty minutes from the airport this mauna lani condo has it all. 3 bedrooms, one with two beds, two baths, lanai overlooking golf course, a/c, bbq, and modern decor. the owner dinah is very nice. she gave us a welcome guide book that was very useful. the pool is just the perfect setting for relaxing. access to the beach club has the best snorkeling i''ve seen in many trips to the islands. the mauna lani hotel is right there and the shopping center has everything. we went to costco in kona but could have shopped at the market right here and gotten everything we needed. definitely an A+. you can't go wrong.
