Come to Kapoho Beach Pool House in sunny Kapoho and enjoy our 180 degree view of the Pacific. Located on the highest point within our gated community, The Pool House is surrounded by fruit trees, palms, hibiscus, plumeria and it has it's own in ground swimming pool.

Both floors have just been redecorated with new flooring and paint. Top floor provides 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a full kitchen, a covered lanai and a side lanai for sunning. The downstairs has 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms with a kitchen and a covered lanai.

We offer satellite TV with flat screen TV's , DVD player, wireless Internet, local phone service. Champagne Pond is a short walk with its crystal clear geothermic heated tidal pool. Here you can snorkel and swim with the sea turtles.

Pahoa Town with it's old board sidewalks is 10 miles away and has a number of different ethnic restaurants, grocery stores, banks, ATMS board sidewalks, and small boutiques. Only about 15 minutes to the Lava viewing

In rural Old Hawaii on the easternmost end of Hawaii with tropical forests, Pohoiki fishing ramp with surf and a new park, birds galore, flowers and fruit, Champagne Pond and hot ponds, and Waiopae tidepools for great snorkeling close by. Lava Flow viewing is just a few minutes away, plus black sand beaches, green sea turtles, and quaint old western Pahoa town. It's only 30 miles to Hilo with its waterfalls, museums, astronomy center, Liliokalani Park and large city shopping.

Volcanoes National Park is about 30 miles drive where you can see an active stream volcano spewing.

Close to Champagne Pond: This home lies within the gated community of Kapoho Beach Lots. You can walk to the thermally heated fresh and sea water pond where the sea turtles come to rest (about 3 blocks). The water is very clear, calm and warm there - great for kids to swim in.

Close to current Lava Flow Viewing: Only about 20 minutes drive at the end of Highway 130 for viewing the lava flowing (as Pele permits).

Owner lives next door with her two dogs.

What a wonderful home. We loved every minute of our two weeks at Pri's home. Her and her niece Louise were excellent neighbors we didn't even know they were next door. The pool was beautiful and the area could not have been better. Champagne pond is an amazing place to snorkel with green turtles, multitudes of fish and eels. It is warm and everyone we met there was friendly and welcoming. The managment company was great thank you Jonnie we will be back. The town of Pohoa is fun the farmers market is a great place to buy local vegies and fruit as well as goodies to take back to family and friends. I would greatly recommend this home to anyone looking for a beautiful location and place to stay with family and friends. Louise the niece of the owner made us dried papaya for our journey home it was excellent thank you so much.

House is great! Comfortable and the owner is right next door and very friendly. The only thing is that it you have to drive to the beach. It's a very short drive, but it would have been nice to walk there. Other than that my trip was great!

waste of money very unhappy with my stay here!

i rented this house for my babys 1st birthday to have a small pool party and i was very disappointed with the condition the place was dirty and they had construction equipment all over the deck the pool was dirty and toads kept getting in the pool!?! there was dog poop everywhere we walked.we had no privacy the owner lives 10 feet away.now for sleeping conditions the beds were very small and very hard my kids kept gettting up crying i couldnt sleep at all. and if you do want to stay here warning!! the upstair level stairs are very steep and long all my guest for the party wouldnt go up they rather sit outside and it was not fun carry our bags up there. now the owner left the place all unlocked did not give me a key to lock up she didnt provide good cutomer service at all and when i went to pay her she didnt have any written recipt instructions NOTHING i had to ask for it. she never even paid attention to my name or who we were yes it was really not professtional at all . one thing for sure is that house was alot cleaner after we left. and this was the first vacation that i couldnt wait to leave. oh and you do have to bring your own towels they were suppose to be provide for us but 3 was all they had.on the good side of the trip the kids enjoyed swimming after the toads got scooped out!?! but really thats it! the whole trip was a big BUMMER!!

Owner's Response: The Kapoho Beach Pool House is now under new management. All of these issues have been addressed. The pool and grounds are being maintained by professionals, locks are being installed on the doors, the cleaning is checked prior to check in and the cleaning service and manager is available to address any issues. More towels are being provided. Plus, the outside has been recently painted. The interior is getting a facelift as well!
