If your looking for a mountain getaway that offers privacy and tranquility, but you want to still be close to all the action, then this is the place for you! Situated in a little cove in the woods, you can relax on the large front porch and watch the abundant wildlife around you or swing in the hammock in the front yard while listening to the babbling brook close by. Wild turkeys, raccoons, owls, rabbits, foxes, coyotes, and even an occasional catamount and black bear have all been seen here! Newly renovated, this romantic little A-Frame cabin has new log siding and railing, knotty cedar paneling, rustic pine flooring, and all new furniture and appliances. The cabin has a queen-sized bed in the downstairs bedroom and a second queen bed in the loft bedroom. A fully equipped kitchen and separate laundry room have everything you will need for your stay. Several hiking trails, creeks and streams are all near by. Located only 10 minutes from Dillsboro and15 minutes from Sylva and WCU.

Nearest Motorway: Hwy 441 at 2 Miles
Located only 10 minutes from historic Dillsboro and 15 minutes from the town of Sylva and Western Carolina University, 20 minutes to Cherokee and Franklin, 1 hour to Asheville and the Biltmore Estate, 2 hours to Atlanta, 1.5 hours to Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge, 30 minutes to Bryson City and 40 minutes to Nantahala Outdoor Center. Only 5 minutes to the Tuckasegee river and some of the best fishing in the mountains. Within walking distance of the cabin there are several hiking trails, old logging roads, waterfalls, caves, miles of national forest land, and a bold creek great for fishing rainbow, brown, and speckled trout!

An Amazing Vacation

My stay at Little Cove Cabin was very special. I was able to make many day trips from this private starting point; however, it was sooooo……. relaxing to spend some days just hanging out at the cabin, which is Josh and Kimberly’s “little piece of heaven.” I had everything I needed and then some. The cabin was cute, comfortable and very clean. The property was up to date and well maintained. It is beautiful on top of their mountain. My time was wonderful and Josh and Kimberly went out of their way to make everything perfect. I do hope to return. Perhaps the next time I come I will make it a "girls getaway" weekend or I might bring my parents for a week.

My husband and I...and my sister and her husband...recently spent a week in this lovely cabin. The owners have thought of everything and have provided everything that could possibly be included to make our stay pleasant and comfortable. To begin with, they have "re-built" the cabin to their own perfectionist standards...lining the walls with cedar, and adding all of the amenities that one could hope for...or expect. All of the furnishings were tasteful, attractive, and comfortable. Their decorating skills far exceed mine (for what that's worth). The deck is spacious and encourages outdoor use...a must in the fall foliage month because the setting of fir and a variety of deciduous trees makes for a gorgeous view. In addition, the owners are readily available for any problem that might arise. The cabin provides perfect privacy for those who care...while being close enough to services to make them available to those who need them. The nearby quaint town of Dillsboro showcases the arts and crafts of those living in the area and provides the availability of the not-to-be-missed Dillsboro Smokehouse...an inexpensive restaurant that makes and sells the absolutely best ribs I've ever tasted!
