The pool and hot tub area is gated, fenced and locked at all times. There is a clubhouse with a party deck, kitchen and lounge. There are community barbecues, lounge chairs, and thatched roof cabanas. We own two Villas at the Fairways at Mauna Lani and can accommodate up to 12 guests. This is perfect for weddings, parties, and special events and includes FREE use of the covered pavilion area, BBQ, tables, chairs, and wet bar. We have been on the Big Island since 1981. We live 20 minutes from the Villa. We are able to quickly resolve any problems you may have. We also give our guests advice on where to go and things to see while you are visiting the Big Island. We can assist you in choosing where to go and what to do. We can normally get you 'local' discounts on many of your activities. We both feel like we are good will ambassadors for the Big Island. We only live 20 minutes away. We can immediately take care of your needs. We extend a lot of personal Aloha to our guests. We have arranged weddings, rehearsal dinners, anniversaries, birthdays, and parties. We have taken many of our guest golfing so they can get the maximum 'owners' discount. We have taken our guests out for scuba diving. We have let our guests use our personal golf clubs. We have received special delivery items and taken them to our guests. We know all of the best restaurants and bars. We know where &where to go, and how to take advantage of any discounts. We are semi retired and rely on this rental income. We take care of our guest

My family and I have been visiting Hawaii annually for eight years now. We have stayed at many different hotels on the big island. Last year, we tried out a friends apartment in "town". It was pretty cramped and my husband and I could not fit in the full sized bed. This year, after some research and a lot of luck, we were pleasantly surprised with the villa at Mauna Lani. We had so much room. The kids had their own bed and bath room (YEAH!!). We were able to eat healthy, less expensive meals. The setting was quiet and peaceful with no one running and screaming through hotel hallways. The villa is well maintained both inside and out. The villa has everything that you need to feel at home. The pool area is relaxing with a great jacuzzi. The private beach is absolutely spectacular! What a family friendly place. Paul was great to work with. All in all, we had a wonderful stay. I am already looking at our 2010 calendar for a hopeful repeat.
