Giant Redwood Forests and Paul Bunyan Trees of Mystery within 30 minutes. Ocean aquarium 20 minutes south in Crescent City. To the north 15 minutes is Harris Beach State Park and 1 hour away is Gold Beach where you can enjoy scenic jet boat tours on the beautiful Rogue River. Five minutes to the south is the Lucky 7 Casino.

Golf: Three golf courses within 30 minutes, including Salmon Creek.

The Perfect Escape

My husband and I totally enjoyed our stay here. We came to celebrate our 23rd wedding anniversary and it was very relaxing. The cabin was very clean and the hot tub luxurious after a day strolling the beach. The cabin was well stocked with everything needed to feel like home. The description was accurate and we found it easily even though we arrived late and it was dark. The restaurant, close by, Nautical Inn, served delicious sea food. I would definitely recommend it to anyone wanting a comfortable place to watch the waves and enjoy the surf.
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Adventure Seekers, Sightseeing, Families with Young Children, Romantic Getaway

Our family had another wonderful stay at the Sea Turtle. We keep coming back year after year because we love the location, and always have such an awesome time. Coming to the Sea Turtle is always something our family looks forward to all year long. We can't wait to come back.

Absolutely Amazing

My husband and I came there for our 10 year anniversary, and Ill have to say we have been many places, but none as beautiful as this!! Its so peaceful, beautiful and absolutely breathtaking! The cabin inside was just as amazing... The layout was very cozy. And there was everything there that you would need! Thanks again for a very relaxing 3 days. We plan on coming again very soon!

Spring on the coast

we loved the view from the deck; being right on the ocean was exactly what we wanted. the early April weather was too cool & rainy to enjoy much sitting out or the hot tub, but it was a great home base for exploring local redwoods & up the Oregon coast. The restaurant next door is only open certain nites. Also the description of the beds in the loft is not really clear about how an adult cannot stand upright up there. (this did not matter to the two of us, but would if you brought a group...) The cabin is very well outfitted with everything you would need and Brookings or Crescent City were handy for shopping. There were not a lot of folks at the resort so it was fairly quiet for us; I imagine in season people on the neighboring decks would feel pretty close tho. We have always had great luck immersing ourselves in new locations via VRBO, and I would recommend this rental to anyone wanting to get away to the north coast area... thanks for sharing your home with us.
