What a find and a great price for your upcoming vacation. With 4 decks in total you can choose any one to sit on and completely take in the sights and smells of the Atlantic Ocean, while reading your favorite book, having a beverage and watching the kids discover precious findings on the beach. This property is also within a protected area inhabited by 'Loggerhead Turtle nests.' We can't think of a better way to kick back and enjoy the serene lifestyle Kure beach has to offer. On the entry level floor is a kids bedroom equipped with 2 sets of bunkbeds and an additional full futon. The bedroom has wonderful views of the beach to entice the youngsters at bedtime as to what adventures lurk on the beach the next day. Also next to the bedroom is a bathroom equipped with a shower stall to completely cleanup after spending an enjoyable day on the beach.

Nearest Airport: ILM at 15 Miles
Nearest Ferry: Feffy to Southport at 2 Miles
Free movies on Sunday night in the park, fireworks every Thursday night, good local places to eat (Deck House, Freddies, Jack Mackerals, Zorba's, Tuscan Grill) Pleasure Island has it all, besides a great family beach. Even though this is a very safe beach, a life guard stand is almost in front of of Bramhall by the Sea for that extra touch of safety. The water is warm all summer, getting to mid 80's in August. Beautiful ocean visible from all three floors. We cannot forget the wonderful aquarium and historic Fort Fisher which are close by on the island .

On the second level is a gorgeous open space including the kitchen, breakfast nook, family room and a bedroom with 2 twin beds, en suite full bath and a westward facing deck to enjoy the sunset.

On the third floor is a spacious master suite with a lovely tiled en suite bath equipped with a eastward facing jacuzzi tub and separate enclosed shower stall. The master opens up to a private deck with panoramic ocean views. As well, another westward facing bedroom equipped with a queen bed, private deck and full bath is located here. The washer and drier are found on this level as well.

Please note that our prices include cleaning, linens and administrative fees. No smoking and no pets please. This property is popular with repeat visitors so please consider booking early to avoid disappointment.

Great vacation, Very relaxing

It was so wonderful to fall asleep to the ocean every night. The view was stunning, especially the sunrise. The house is well equipped with everything you need to cook, we didn't go to a restaurant the whole time. We are looking forward to a future stay.
