This new top floor 2 bed, 2 bath condo is available for short and long term rental. Located at the exclusive and elegant Pacifico Beach Club. Pacifico is an eco-community with swimming pools, hot tub, restaurant, beach club and spa, sunset bar. It is located five minutes from Playa del Coco restaurants and the beach.

Relax on the large balcony overlooking the pool, or enjoy the open living/dining room. Cook in the open granite kitchen with new appliances. The newly furnished,central air conditioned unit has 2 master suites separated from one another by the living room for privace. Ideal for couples or groups of adults traveling together or families with children. The unit sleeps 5 adults or 4 adults and two children. There is an in-unit washer and dryer.

Condo is a 5 minute walk from Coco restaurants and the beach. Tours are available to nearby national parks, dive sites, and surfing.

Pacifico condo location and amenities: Our Pacifico condo is located in a lush green, eco community. There is a private beach club with cabanas and pool service, a restaurant and bar. All the facilities are available to our guests. If you dont want to drive, there is a free shuttle, and taxi service is frequent and inexpensive. The condo is located just 25 minutes from Liberia airport. There is security for the condo and the beach club, and parking at both ares is secured Pacifico has six pools, including a lap pool, 2 lazy river pools, 2 whirlpools, and a children's pool..

Dining and shopping: Our Pacifico condo has lovely new retail shopping area with a gourmet grocery store that has a specialty wine store and bakery, a coffee bar and art gallery, clothing stores, a salon and spa, a travel agency for scheduling tours, all within just a few minutes walking distance. There are many restaurants within 5-10 minutes of the condo, each specializing in a fare. There are several seafood restaurants, and also Italian, French, German, American, Steakhouse, and Costa Rican.

Experiencing nature, wildlife and beaches: Our condo is 10 minutes of four beaches, and within 25-45 minutes of four national parks and wildlife refuges, a waterfall, a volcano and rainforests. Whether snorkeling at the pristeen Ocotal beach or going on a sail, scuba/ snorkel cruise, all are within just 10 minutes of the condo. There are rafting trips/wildlife watching on the Corobici river or at Palo Verde national park. Or take a short trip to the Miravalles volcano, whether by rental car or via a tour. Go to Rincon de la Viejo national park for a day of rafting, tubing, horseback riding, mud baths, and canopy toour. Or drive the Pan American highway toward Bagaces to experience a 50' high waterfall surrounded by ferns, and swim in the natural pool below.

About Keith Clauson

We grew up in Chicago. Keith graduated from the University of Illinois in Engineering and Maggie from DePaul Univeristy Business and Northern Illinois University in Art/Design. We live in Chicago and love Costa Rica's weather, nature, watersports and the warmth and friendliness of its people. After visiting several times, we decided to have our wedding on the beach in Costa Rica surrounded by family, friends, beautiful flowers and even the monkeys in the trees. With weather that is sunny and 82-88 degrees year round, it is the greatest escape from Chicago winters. We love water sports of swimminig, snorkeling, sailing, and watching birds, ignanas, geckos and monkeys. The local people are very friendly and love to practice their English on visitors.

We chose to buy this condo after touriing more than 26 locations all over the country.We love its location in the beautiful eco Pacifico community, with its gorgeous green space, local flowers, trees, and beautiful swimming pools, and proximity to national parks. There are four pools just outside the condo unit, including a whirlpoos, childrens pool, activity pool, and lazy river poo. While you are in the pools, you will see and hear wild canaries, and hummingbirds as they visit the flowers that surround you. Its location is just 25 minutes from the airport, and there are direct flights from many cities. The condo is five minutes from the beaches and watersports, and there are more than 40 restaurants in the area, many you can walk to, offering all types of cuisine. The condo is less than an hour from from three national wildlife reserves, Santa Rosa, Palo Verde and Rincon de la Viejo where there is abundant north and south american birds, monkeys, iguanas.Pacifico has five pools, including an infinity pool with ocean views, lazy river pools, whirlpool, activity pool. There is a health club and spa. It is secure and quiet. There is a gourmet grocery/wine store and coffee bar within Pacifico.

What makes this condo unique

Our furniture is locally made and hand carved from many unusual hardwoods of Costa Rica. We have decorated the condo with artwork, pottery and wood carving by local artisans. Each bed and bath are separated by the open kitchen/dining/living space. Condo has a flat screen tv, wireless network, and a computer. Also central air conditioning,in-unit washer dryer, and balcony overlooking the pool.

Fabulous place to relax and have fun!

Condo is gorgeous and the pictures are just how it looks! A very comfortable place to escape to. The Pacifico complex is like a luxurious resort but much less crowded. The Beach Club was an added bonus. The condo and grounds were immaculate. It's located a short walk to the "town" for restaurants and/night life. Taxi's are available just outside the gate if needed and are very affordable. The Supermercado is just outside the gate but we shopped at the local grocery across the street for a little immersion into local culture. It is on the third floor but we didn't mind the extra daily exercise. No elevator here though so you must consider this if you have mobility concerns. Keith was a wonderful host, answered all of our questions and has a reliable property manager so you have a local contact if needed. Wifi helped us stay in touch a bit and was especially nice for our colleage age travel companions. We would definitely stay here again and/or recommend it to others.

PERFECT 2 bedroom condo

You will want for nothing in this beautifully furnished condo. LARGE kitchen fully stocked, large master bedroom and bathroom. 2nd bedroom and bathroom very nice. Large patio facing the pool and mountains. The place looks brand new. If you enjoy granite counter tops, king size bed, tiled floors, very comforatble couch, etc., you will feel at home here. There are 3 pools great for swimming and relaxing on the very comforatble chaise lounges. I would rent it again.

This was our 3rd trip to Costa Rica. Each time we stay in a different town. I would describe this town as a "local" feel. The restaurants are average to good. There is A LOT of happy hour happening here and live music. The beach is not very appealing - dark sand but there is a very prett beach 3 miles away - Ocotal. Also, the "town" is perpendicular to the beach as opposed to a town like Tamarindo where the restaurants are on the beach.

I am one that will research everything extensively, especially when it comes to travel. We have kids ranging from 4-18, so we have to accommodate a broad range. This condo was perfect. You cannot find a prettier location to stay. The condo accommodated us well. The Pacifico area was perfect. We ALWAYS felt safe. The condo area was never crowded. We felt like we had the place to ourselves. We did not get to make it to the beach club, but the pool area was perfect (especially for little ones)
As far as the main beach here(playa del coco), we didn't care for it much. We drove ten minutes to Playa Hermosa (The Hilton Resort beach) you will not find a better rate and place than Keith's condo. Bring your running shoes, or rent bikes and golf carts from across the road. Don't forget to go downtown about 5pm to see the howler monkeys up in the trees. There's my input...now book it!

Great stay in a beautiful condo!

I'm just back from a great stay in this condo at the Pacifico complex in Playa del Coco. Starting with the condo complex, the grounds are very nice and well kept. The pools were clean and uncrowded. This condo overlooks the lifestyle pool. It is a third floor unit, so not the best choice for those will difficulty with climbing stairs. The condo is immaculate and well equipped with everything you need. I was impressed with the Master suite with large four poster bed and large stand up shower and dual vanities. A large walk-in closet is also included in the Master suite.
Pacifico also has a beach club accessible to owners and guests. The beach club is located offsite with respect to the condo complex, but not too far of a walk down the beach if you are so inclined, or alternatively you can take the shuttle bus over (or a cab - only $2). The beach club has two large infinity pools and a jacuzzi. They have a large variety of items on their food and drink menus.
Overall, the condo is very nice, well equipped and affordable. I was very pleased with my stay. Keith answered all my questions beforehand and made the process very easy.

Pacifico Condo - Highly Recommend

My girlfriend and I stayed in the condo at the start of May 2012. The condo is in excellent shape and I would be hard pressed to find any faults with anything in it. If you prefer to eat in rather than out, as was our preference the kitchen is fully loaded. There is a lot to do in the immediate area (Coco, Ocotal, Hermosa) and is close enough for day trips to Rincon, etc. The beach club was very relaxing and great to lay out for some sun (I imagine during the peak season it can get very busy there).

Both Keith and Corby were pleasant to deal with, very accommodating and helpful in providing suggestions when needed.

I highly recommend working with the owner, the property and Costa Rica in general.
