Relax with your morning coffee on our balcony overlooking the ocean. Located in a quiet residential beach front area, this 9-unit condo building is between the famous spa Cieba del Mar and the large hotel Secrets Excellence... Only a 2 kilometer walk into the town square of sleepy little Puerto Morelos. Restaurants, shopping, taxis, internet cafes and money exchanges are located there. This condo is furnished with comfortable luxurious leather sofas and lounge chairs, Dish network TV from the USA, large refrigerator, plenty of linens, stacked washer and dryer, cooking equipment, and almost everything you would expect to find in your own home except an oven and bathtub! [Toaster oven ; bathrooms have showers.] On the middle floor, it overlooks the pool and large patio for sunning in the loungers or gathering with other renters and owners for cocktails in the evening around the large table under the concrete palapa. HOA rules: no rentals that include kids between 4-11 yrs old

The turnoff to the beach town of Puerto Morelos is approx. 17 km south on the superhighway 307 from the Cancun Airport. The town square is a delightful place for sitting on benches, eayching the local children play on the swings, listen to music during the many events scheduled, or walk around the square to the many gift shops and small restaurants. A new extension of the square is on the beach, with shaded pergolas and palm trees among the benches. It's a short drive into Playa del Carmen, where there is a WalMart, Sams, and other major Mexican chain stores for shopping and enjoying the restaurants and shops on Fifth Avenue.

Puerto Morelos: Located between Cancun and Playa del Carmen, Puerto Morelos has a traditional town square, plenty of restaurants, souvenir shops, grocery store, convenience market, beautiful church, and lovely white-sand beaches. The locals are friendly and helpful, and there are lots of north Americans living there most of the year.

Our new beach house: We like Puerto Morelos so well that we are building a 4-bedroom/5 bath house right on the beach only 2 lots south of our condo. With confortable sleeping for 10+, a swimming pool, jacuzzi, Dish network, dishwasher, baking oven, side-by-side fridge/freezer. We'll be moving our personal things out of the condo in September and the condo will go up for sale. The house, Villa Mango Sunrise, will be put on this site probably in October. (we want to make certain that everything is in working order for rentals over the Christmas/New Year holiday. If you want to get a jump on the holiday rental market, contact us!

Condo comfort: what to bring with you: In Condo Farrar, you can expect to find almost everything that you will need for the week. We advise people to bring their favorite ground coffee, as the selection is limited in the local store. We supply the sweetners (Equal & Splenda) We also furnish 6 beach towels for your use. There is a stacked washer and dryer in the unit, as well as bottled water at the start of your stay. Additional water is available at 25 pesos in a stairwell closet on our floor. (In 14 years, we have never gotten sick from brushing our teeth in the tap water, but we do make our coffee and tea from the 5-gallon-water.)
