Local attractions: There are two excellent blue flag beaches within walking distance (500mtrs). Balaia is also within easy reach of several golf courses on the Algarve including Vilamoura and Pine Cliffs. Balaia is an ideal location for a family or golfing holiday. The resort is less than 30 minutes drive from Faro Int airport and offers easy access to all of the Algarve’s facilities, it is quiet and peaceful with outstanding facilities on resort and with attractive beaches and lively night life nearby. The 'Old Town' of Albufeira is 10 -15 minutes away by Taxi appx 5 Euros each way, with its lively cafes, bars, restaurants, night clubs and Marina.

Terrific appartment, whith lots of extras.
Very clean,bright, owner has nice taste in decor. It is a distance from reception15-20 mins leisurely walk so would be better with a hire car, but I managed to walk everywhere and sometimes took taxi back. I am 80.
Restaurants nearby good,golf house very friendly and good food. Wonderful 9 hole challenging golf course with lots of practise areas around . Sparkling blue clean pools. Lovely beach very close, within walking distance. Very peaceful location with open outlook and lots of wild birdlife to enjoy.I will book again and recommend to friends
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Girls Getaway, Sightseeing, Families with Teenagers, Families with Young Children

Hi Chris, Once again had a lovely time. Apartment was fantastic as it was last year. It was so good last year that I recommended it to my sister Anne Marie who has also booked your apartment for one week. She is arriving with her family in Balaia tomorrow. Fantastic Apartment

Chris Sorry for the delay in responding. We had a lovely time in Balaia. The apartment was fantastic - very comfortable and well appointed. The weather was great (the last sun we'll see for a few months). The resort was relatively quiet which suited us down to the ground and evidently well looked after by the staff. Great food, great wine and lovely people. All in all it was a really pleasant holiday - many thanks. James and Sara

Hi Chris, I'm back in Canada now, and wanted to let you know how much we enjoyed your beautiful apartment. We loved the golf course and pools, and thought everything was very convenient. We would definitely like to return to Portugal again, and when we do, I hope your apartment is available for rental! The village is gorgeous, and so well maintained. It was truly a joy to experience all Balaia had to offer.
