This is an immaculate & incredibly peaceful house that is situated on 1/2 acre parcel on Lake Thomas. The house was completely renovated and updated in 2005. The fishing is awesome from the private dock! Lake only allows 10hp boats or less. Or simply relax by the fireplace and enjoy life! House has everything waiting for you. Show up with your suit case, a cell phone (if you want phone service! lol) a laptop (Internet service provided ) and we have everything else for you. Cleaning service is provided at the end of your stay, but if you would like more frequent cleaning that can be arranged for. You will love this house, and Tampa is easily accessible via the veterans express way which is 1.4 miles from the house.

Property is located just off of the Veterans express way, at the Dale Mabry Exit. It is 1.2 miles north of the exit ramps, which is just north of Cheval Golf and Country Club, one of the more elite communities in Tampa. When you arrive at the property you will be impressed with how close you are to all amenities (Grocery Store and Target are about two miles north) but how peaceful and quiet the property and community are. Parking is plentiful.

Notes: This is a truly awesome home that is situated on a 1/2 acre parcel on Lake Thomas. The fishing is great from the private dock. The lake only allows 10hp boats or less to ensure a peaceful stay with us. When you arrive you will find that the house has everything there for you. Just bring a suitcase of clothes, a cell phone (if you want to hear a phone ring) and your laptop (internet access is provided). The Large eat in kitchen has everything there for you, if we have missed anything, we welcome your suggestions! Both bathrooms are equipped with quality linens. All bedding is provided. Cleaning is done at the end of your stay, but daily cleaning service can be arranged for at an additional charge. A full size washer and dryer are provided for your convenience. You will be impressed with how peaceful and quiet the property is, and yet how close you are to all the conveniences. (Super Target is less than 2 miles away, and Great restaurants are 10 minutes and less)

Great place for a group!

The home was great. Clean with many amenities. The book with directions was detailed and there were contact numbers for questions. The internet access, TVs, video games, etc. made it like a hotel. The towels for the beach were great. It was so nice to have laundry available and what a beautiful kitchen. Easy to follow directions from the Tampa Airport.

My husband and I enjoyed staying at the house. It was very well appointed and had everything we needed for an enjoyable stay including room for visiting guests. The house overlooks a lake which is very peaceful. The location was convenient for visiting other towns, north and south as well as Clearwater beach. We enjoyed many of the parks in the area. The surrounding area has many good restaurants and shopping.

We had a SUPER Time!!!

My friends and I really enjoyed our stay in Tampa during Super Bowl weekend. The house was the best part of our stay. The house was in a very quiet location (which was good) and easily assessible to restaurants, shopping, and many things to do. The house was VERY well maintained with PLENTY of towels. We look forward to visiting this home in the near future.

Thanksgiving at the lake

The house was very well furnished and as described by the owner - it is older but nicely remodeled. It is very roomy and could easily accomodate a large family. Lots and lots of towels - which meant not having to do laundry every day and a washer and dryer are included - very convenient. Basic products were not supplied which was disappointing - we had to go shopping before we could take a shower as there was not even a bar of soap provided. The setting on the lake was beautiful but the fishing was disappointing for us - there were wires around the dock that made it impossible to cast from it. There are lots of attractions nearby and a lot of restaurants and shopping so the location is excellent. The property appeared to be clean but after the first evening we noticed that a lot of things needed attention. We did report this to the owner upon our return and he was extremely concerned and cooperative and agreed to make the improvements - all really minor things. He offered to make amends and we would stay there again when we next travel to the Tampa area. We would also recommend the property to friends. Overall the house was very comfortable and in a nice, older neighborhood that was quiet and felt safe with easy access to all the major freeways. We were very impressed with the owner's response to our suggestions and found him to be great to rent from. We were there the last two weeks in November and the first week in December - the weather was great. It was a nice place to spend Thanksgiving.
Owner's Response: We changed some of our basics after speaking with Sequimer to help improve the over all house. We do now supply the basics so that when you arrive all the necessities are in place (bar soap, shampoo, cleaners, etc. etc.) The fishing can be slow depending on the time of year(when it is cold they are not as active) and we have resolved the line problem on the dock. The Ducks like to be fed by everyone, but they also leave messes(which is why we had the lines) so we now have eliminated almost all the lines and added a new bird control so that fishing on the dock is easy. There were some small items that they pointed out and we now have changed our cleaning check list to ensure that these problems do not happen again.

We are always looking to improve the house and appreciate the helpful suggestions and comments and look forward to having repeat business.
