Get away to the Stony Mountain Chalet located in Towamensing Trails- A new, spacious 2 story chalet in a lake community with all the comforts of home. The house has large living room with high ceiling, 40' flat screen TV, large deck, gas fireplace, and TVs in most bedrooms. New finished basement with ping pong table, Foosball, Air hockey table, board games, TV with DVD, and washer/dryer in separate room. Close proximity to the ski areas of Big Boulder and Jack Frost. and approx 25 min to Camelback. Local activities include skiing, hiking, mountain biking, horseback riding, and fishing. 15 min from the Pocono Race Track and 3 area golf courses and close to the Casino. State park and white water rafting near by. Tanger Outlets located within 30 minutes. Renters must be 25 years of age or older to rent. A maximum of 8 badges are allowed by the association for the amenities at the lake and clubhouse. Inquire about weekend specials. *NOTE FOR SUMMER 2009 - Lake closed for repairs

Feels like home away from home

I would tell anyone to rent this beautiful home. The pictures do not do this home justice, it is even more beautiful in person. It was a wonderful, relaxing, comfortable and meticulous home. The owners are very easy to deal with and extremely accommodating. I want to thank Kim for everything and I would hope to be able to visit again.

Great Chalet in the Poconos

The house was a perfect get away. We had 6 adults and there was plenty of space for us all. The living room accomodated us all to settle in to watch a movie or 2. The basement area was ideal to escape for game playing, dancing and singing along with our favorite Music Video. The ski resort Jack Frost was just minutes away so we took advantage and went snow tubing at night. We found shopping and resturants about 30-40 minutes away in Wilkes Barre. The only thing that was wrong is we wished we had have booked this chalet for a longer stay. Next time we will. Thanks Dave and Kim

Awesome Time

Our hosts were charming and professional. The house was well organized and exactly as promised. Their new pocono home was clean, impeccably decorated and very cozy. Some of us went skiing and others just relaxed around the fireplace. A perfect weekend.

Best Chalet in the Pocono's

This chalet in the Pocono’s was the best! We had a group of two families, 4 adults / 4 kids with plenty of room for another family. The place was spotless, three full bathrooms with a master bath bigger than ours at home! The living room was very comfy and gave us plenty of room for “Rock Band” which was a site to see for the adults.

We skied for 4 days, Jack Frost and Big Boulder are just minutes away, so close that we skied the day came back to the chalet for dinner and returned for some night skiing. One day we went to Blue Mountain about 35 minutes. I should say that not all of us skied…the ladies did some damage at the outlet stores which was a very expense 30 minute drive, but all good.

We cooked every night in the spacious well-stocked kitchen with the snow falling, fireplace going and great friends.... Priceless.

The washer and dryer was a big help with the ski clothes, all of us enjoyed the ping-pong table and they even have a lot of board games available.

We will be back!

Dave and Kim have done an AMAZING job with attention to detail and comfort in this wonderful chalet. Our entire family came together for a long Thanksgiving weekend in this home and none of us wanted to leave. Especially nice were the master bath and the ping pong table as well as the comfortable living room. Everything was new and clean. We were able to focus on each other which was the point of the weekend. The owners were very helpful and easy to reach. A +++
