Get away to the Stony Mountain Chalet located in Towamensing Trails- A new, spacious 2 story upscale chalet in a lake community with all the comforts of home. The house has large living room with high ceiling, 42' flat screen TV, large deck, gas fireplace, and TVs in all bedrooms. New finished basement with ping pong table, Foosball, Air hockey table, board games, TV with DVD, and washer/dryer in separate room.

Close proximity to the ski areas of Big Boulder and Jack Frost. and approx 25 min to Camelback. Local activities include skiing, hiking, mountain biking, horseback riding, and fishing. 15 min from the Pocono Race Track and 3 area golf courses and close to the Casino. State park and white water rafting near by. Tanger Outlets located within 30 minutes. Renters must be 28 years of age or older to rent. A maximum of 8 badges are allowed by the association for the amenities at the lake and clubhouse.

***PLEASE NOTE*** - THE LAKE WILL BE OPEN FOR USE FOR SUMMER 2012. OUR CHALET IS LOCATED ABOUT A MILE FROM THE LAKE/POOL AREA. 2012 - POOL OPEN FOR SEASON SAT. JUNE 23RD - LAKE OPEN JUNE 16TH.

Our large family has traditionally been renting in the Poconos for the past 10 years. By the end of our 4 day stay we knew we found the perfect house. We were so happy when the owners agreed to take our reservations a year in advance. We didn't want to take a chance that it would be booked when we needed it again.
The house is beautiful. Loved the open floor layout. There was always someone hanging out at the kitchen island. Then there was also the full size basement of fun things to do! Plenty of driveway space too.

We had a great time at your Chalet. The house is beautiful and roomy enough for a large family vacation. The location of the house was great and convenient to everything. The well stocked kitchen made preparing meals so easy. Our grand kids loved the game room downstairs. Thanks for a great vacation experience! Our only regret is that we did not discover the Alpine Bakery until our last day of vacation. Definitely a great place to go!

We had a wonderful time at Kim and Dave's place. We were 9 adults who went for President's Day weekend. There was plenty of room and activities. We went to ski and Jack Frost and Big Boulder were very close by. This was our second time there and we will definitely be back. The owners (Dave and Kim) are very easy to deal with. They were prompt in answering any questions we may have had. I would highly recommend this place.

Great Family Fun in the Poconos

We rented the Stony Mountain Chalet for a long weekend for a family ski trip.The ski resorts were close by and we enjoyed relaxing in the chalet by the fire after a long day of skiing. The home was super clean and warm and cozy. The kitchen was large and well supplied. The game room was a big hit with the kids. They spent every free moment down there. The last night the kids organized a family tournament in the game room and we all had a great time down there.
The whole rental process was seamless. I highly recommend renting this property.
We hope to be back next year!

we had a mini family reunion in late august and tried to find something a little last minute. The owners were great about getting everything to us in time to get everything done. this place has a lower cleaning fee than other rentals, plenty of space and is extremely clean. We had a great time and if we stay in the area again, we would definitely rent from these owners again.
