Portofino is the perfect place to stay in Cancun!
My husband and I had an amazing honeymoon at Portofino. This was our first experience renting a condo and it was very very easy. It had every amenity of a hotel without the hassle of crowds and lack of privacy, not to mention being cooped up in a 1 room hotel room! The condo was amazing and beautifully decorated, it had the feeling of a luxury hotel from the front entrance to the rear, where pool and beach access were only a few steps away. It was a perfect location for us as a couple but would be a great place for families as well!
We had the opportunity to view other properties on our walks along the beach and Portofino was by far the best maintained and luxurious. The description was completely accurate, and the renting process was so easy. The owner was friendly, attentive and prompt with his responses throughout the entire process. He also gave wonderful suggestions and descriptive portrayals of the area and attractions that were priceless.
The view from the lagoon and ocean balconies were breathtaking… the best we had ever seen. The grounds were very well maintained and the landscaping was perfect. The infinity pool was amazing and private, just a few steps from the white sand beaches and turquoise ocean. It was hard to leave the condo to go out and explore, we were so comfortable it had everything we needed!
We also enjoyed taking trips to the local markets (there was 1 right next to the condo!!) and cooking meals in the well equipped kitchen (Pots, pans, dishes, cups, glass wear, utensils..etc, it was all there!). The main living areas were spacious and the property was immaculate and well maintained. The condo was less than a 5 minute walk from the heart of shopping, dining, clubs, bars and wireless internet cafes. There were endless things to do in the area, and it was incredible to see the district unfold at nighttime. We felt safe everywhere we traveled and security was tight all around the condo. Portofino was the perfect location on the strip, walking distance to everywhere we needed to go! I have already recommended this owner and property to friends and family, I look forward to our next stay!
I will always go back to Portofino, not only for its great location and amenities but mostly because the owner, who was incredibly honest and friendly and made our vacation one we will never forget.
You must rent this condo, you will not regret it!!!
