A summer vacation house with everything!

This clean, well-maintained vacation home was perfectly situated on a hill with a panoramic westward view overlooking a finger of Smith Mountain Lake. Semi-private lake swimming was just a short walk down the hill and onto the furnished private dock. This lake access and swimming was perhaps the most memorable aspect for our entire family of six. Our minimal criteria for a summer vacation home is a pool table and a hot tub. Usually other excellent amenities follow. Camelot did not disappoint. We have stayed several times in high-quality ocean-view and sound-view homes in the Outer Banks of North Carolina, in the mountains of western Maryland at Deep Creek Lake, and in the Pocono mountain area, but Smith Mountain Lake's Camelot house was the most memorable and closest to perfection.
