Come and vacation in our beautifully furnished, well maintained 1-bedroom unit on the top (4th) floor facing the Gulf. 3 swimming pools, 2 hot tubs, tennis courts, shuffleboard, lush landscaping, and the BEACH!
The balcony allows you bird's-eye views of the pool area, the private lake, and the waters of the Gulf, including some spectacular sunsets when Mother Nature provides them. It is L-shaped, oversized for the 1BR units because of its location in the building, with south and southeast exposures. This gives some protection from the afternoon sun, but the sunsets are still viewable and sunrises are out there if you're an early riser. The balcony has a table and chairs for outside dining, or just relaxing and taking in the view.
The bedroom has a queen-sized bed. There are two bunks in the hallway, and a queen-sized sofa sleeper in the living room. The fully-equipped kitchen has been recently updated with stainless appliances, new countertops and tile floor. There are plenty of cabinets and workspace if you want to eat in some of the time. If you don’t quite want to get away from it all, there’s free wireless internet access.
The beach is just across the road and down the deeded access boardwalk - perhaps a 50 yard walk. There’s also a nice walking/jogging trail through the property, leading you to tennis and shuffleboard. If you like biking, there is a 23 mile biking trail that goes by. The 18-hole 'Santa Rosa' course at the Santa Rosa Golf & Beach Club is adjacent to Gulf Place. Picnic in one of several nearby state parks-- take a short hike and experience a wide variety of natural resources including coastal forests and wetlands, pristine white-sand beaches with majestic dunes, and rare coastal dune lakes.
At the intersection of county roads 393 and 30A, Gulf Place is a planned resort community made up of condos and private townhomes, a large grassy amphitheater, and a commercial area of artist kiosks, boutiques, and eateries. Everyone likes Miss Lucille’s Gossip Parlor where the coffee is always hot, the ice cream a treat, and the bakery goods hard to pass up. The landscape crew keeps the grounds lush and green. There’s a security patrol at night, just in case.
Further afield, golf is just down the road, or you can easily drive to Sandestin and Destin to the west, or Seaside and Grayton Beach to the east. You will find many places to eat and shop along the way. There are five eating places within walking distance of the condo.

We also have a 2BR/2BA unit at Gulf Place Caribbean. It is an end unit with added privacy, lots of windows and light, a panoramic view of the lake from the patio, and a spacious master bedroom. The balcony has both south and southeast exposures. We enjoy the relaxing view of the Gulf.
We enjoyed your family condo very much. I wish we were able to spend more time there, but the family wanted us down at the beach house every day. We were able to cook there one night, and made breakfast every morning. The patio is lovely and we really enjoyed it. What great views you have. Your place is well taken care of and very clean. My wife and I hope to stay there again. By the way, I do some photography, and the photos of the kids are priceless.

We just got back home from a perfect week at the beach. This one bedroom unit was better than expected. The views from the balcony made it the best unit in the building. The kitchen was well stocked and the unit felt roomy and comfortable. We appreciated being on the top floor. The complex had three very nice pools and we even took time to play shuffleboard. The walk to the beach was easy. I would definitely recommend this unit to friends and family.
My good friend of 30 years and I stayed here for a girls trip. We could not have asked for better. Santa Rosa is a wonderful area that is not as crowded. Very laid back but still everything you need is accessible and close.
This condo is wonderful. First (and most important to us) is the view! Being on the top floor gives a great view of the ocean. Lots of windows facing the water allowed for viewing from the kitchen and living area. And then there is the deck. Because this is a corner unit the deck on this property is extra large. This was great for us because it gave lots of extra storage for beach chairs and coolers while allowing us to use the remainder of the deck without being crowded. Beach access is directly across the road and easy to get too.
The inside of the condo is just as good. My friend slept in the main bedroom and raved about the comfort of the mattress on the bed. I am an adult of average size and I slept very comfortably on one of the twin beds. The bathroom is good sized and even we two girls never had a problem. Lots of counter and cabinet space in the bath. There is an ample supply of bath linens. The kitchen is well stocked. We ate breakfast in every day and we went to the local seafood market each morning and bought our selection for our evening meal. There is one seafood market within walking distance (Goatfeathers) and another just a few miles away headed toward Destin on 98 (Shrimpers). Both are good, but I prefer Shrimpers. The kitchen had everything we needed for cooking in each night. Publix is a short drive away for everything you need. There are good restaurants around also if you prefer to go out. There are a few located within Gulfplace and others close by.
You can tell these owners take pride in their beach homes at Gulfplace. I personally stayed at this one and I have family members who stayed in their other 2 bed/2 bath unit. Both are equally beautiful and very well maintained. Great communication with the owner through emails. Quick responses to questions and a quick return of my rental deposit.
Santa Rosa does not disappoint. The laid back atmosphere is a welcomed change from the daily hustle and bustle of big city life. The water and beaches are like no other. I love the Caribbean islands and Santa Rosa is as close to Caribbean like beaches and water as you can get. It doesn't get any better than this.
We are already planning our return visit!
Great unit, great location, in a great complex. Just returned from a wonderful week on 30A in NW FL. We had a wonderful time at Gulfplace using all the facilities: heated pool, hot tub, tennis courts, and open grass for soccer. I would say it's unusual to have that open space dedicated in the complex, so enjoy it.
The condo was just as described and appointed with everything we needed. Nothing fancy, just what you need, kind of like the rest of Santa Rosa Beach. Owner was very helpful and flexible in setup and arrival. Everything occurred just like he said it would. Our only hiccup was some building maintenance that left us without the balcony for a day and a half, but that can't be planned for.
Very helpful to have the washer and dryer in unit. Easy access to the beach was appreciated as well. We had 5 sleeping which was fine while we slept but we tried to spend as much time outside to avoid being cramped. Our choice, not dictated by the condo. We'll look for a larger unit, maybe with the same owner, for our next visit.
We took a great bike ride to Seaside, 6.7 miles one way, and our 8 year old made it like a champ. After missing fresh seafood at a bargain the first couple days, 6 PM closures for Goatfeathers and Shrimpers, we made sure to get our steamed shrimp on time the last 3 days. Shrimper's Market was the best deal and quality for us.

My husband and I just returned from a long weekend in 411! It was delightful! It felt quiet and secluded, yet so close to amenities. Gulf Place itself has great facilities (pools, beach access) and this specific condo felt like a home-away-from-home. The owners were easy to work with, and enjoyable to rent from. It looks exactly like the pictures and was represented well. They even have a restaurant menu binder in the condo! Little touches like that made it not just a great place to rent form--but an exceptional one.
Everything was as stated. Beautiful view from balcony, bike path next door, plenty of restaurants and things to do nearby, condo was comfortable and well equiped and owner was very helpful with maps and restaurant suggestions. Had a wonderful week, uncrowded and beautiful beach. Definitely one of our most relaxing vacations ever. Number code to unlock door was much nicer than having to carry around a card or key.
We just got back from a wonderful week in this condo. The owner was great to work with and we were impressed with all the helpful information he sent to us in advance and also had waiting for us in the condo. We really liked the area - Santa Rosa Beach and more specifically Gulf Place have got to be one of the best kept secrets on the Gulf Coast! It's right in between Destin and Seaside, but yet the beach was not as crowded. Gulf Place seemed to be full (according to the parking lot), but we liked how quiet it was. We loved the large balcony which had really nice outdoor furniture and a beautiful view. The beds were comfortable, the kitchen and bath were super clean, and every room was fully equipped. We highly recommend this condo with one small warning: the wireless interenet works better in the morning than the evening. Luckily, we were totally on vacation and didn't bring any work to do! =) We also recommend Amore's Pizza right on the property - yum!
