The description of the property is very accurate, but the pictures don't do it justice. Villa Roma shows MUCH nicer in person and is the perfect place for anyone. We stayed in Jaco for 1 week and enjoyed every minute of it. Villa Roma is close enough to walk into town, but far enough to relax in the peace and quiet. Everyone involved in our vacation was extreamly helpful, friendly and expressed a genuine interest in making our vacation perfect from beginning to end...and they succeeded. The owner Larry, offers great advice on what to do and where to go if your interested in doing any of the touristy attractions. Geovanny drove us all over the place. He knew what the best of the best was around town (Food, Tours, bars) and he was punctual, dependable and affordable...worth every penny. Elena is the property manager, she was so nice & helpful in helping us to decide what to do...there is alot..and everyone speaks perfect english. I could live there forever, can't wait to go back. If you are just going to relax this pad is quiet, clean and safe. The beach is a 20 second walk with soft black sand and no rocks. The house is gated and has off street parking. During the daytime there is a housekeeper to keep everything tidy and from 6 at night to 6 in the am you'll have a security gaurd. Thank you Moises, Tatiana and Fatima you all were great. We rented scooters for a few of the days and went exploring to Hermosa, Herradura and Los Suenos, all very pretty. The people of Costa Rica were great to us, everyone is extreamely nice. Jaco is a good beach for those looking to surf or boogie board. The waves are good for beginners and if you want something a bit bigger hermosa is 10 minutes away. The house provides you with a full kitchen, but take advantage of eating out. The food is awesome, we didn't have a bad meal anywhere. Tsunami Sushi is Fantastic! Jaco Taco is great and open 24 hrs. We took the scooters to Los Suenos and ate at The Hook Up Resturant overlooking the marina which was excellent and beautiful. Villa Calletas is great for sunsets and drinks. The backyard bar has a georgous view, good food and a party at night. If you like to hike, there is a walking trail that you can take up the mountain to a lookout that overlooks all of Jaco Bch. where you can see alot of wildlife. My favorite was the 2 Scarlett Macaws that flew overhead several times daily. Overall I was impressed with the rental and would highly recommend it to anyone.

Owner's Response: Melissa is correct, the photos don't do Villa Roma justice t all. I was also thrilled to hear the staff was fabulous.
If you even somewhat enjoy sushi... don't leave Jaco without going to Tsunami Sushi. I might be worth the entire trip to Costa Rica just for that alone.
