This 26-unit resort condominium was totally renovated in 2005. You'll find the on-site management friendly and accommodating--helping to make your vacation everything you'd hoped for! The unit is beautifully furnished with a tropical flair and tiled throughout. Free in-unit WiFi. Features include a King bed and LCD TV in the bedroom, living room with queen sleeper sofa, TV and DVD, fully-equipped kitchen, dining area, ceiling fans and central air conditioning. Hi Mary Jane,

We had a wonderful stay at the condo. The setting is unbeatable, right on the beach with the Gulf just steps away.

Silver Sands itself was great too, clean and comfortable with a lot of thought given to your guests needs. We really appreciated those small touches- a drying rack for wet suits and towels, a bucket for sandy feet and a blender for slushy drinks on a hot beach day, to name just a few.

The office staff was more than helpful (I have to mention Laura, for her assistance in reuniting me with my phone charger) and the system for after hours arrival, which we needed to use, went without a hitch.

There was plenty to keep both teens and parents happy and we will definitely stay at 246 again the next time we are taking a beach vacation.

Great short vacation.

My wife and daughter and I had a great time on our short vacation in Longboat Key. The condo was perfect as it was so close to the beach which allowed us to maximize our time on the sand and in the water. The condo was exactly as it was described and photographed. It was very clean and ready for us to use the minute we got there. I would definitely recommend this property to others who are looking for a great place to get away.

Great Escape

My wife and I set out for a 4 day weekend and this condo was perfect. The staff was great. We were ahead of schedule for once and allowed to check in early, no questions asked. We were steps away from the beach just as it was described. We will definitely look to return to this unit. We had a great time.

This unit is everything we've dreamed about for a relaxing and private beach vacation. The pictures in this listing are exactly how the condo looks like. A white sand beach is only steps away from the room as well as the pool. The condo is very well kept and clean!!! The recent upgrades made the unit very comfortable and enjoyable! There was nothing we did not like about this place! It was a PERECT vacation for us! The owner and resort staff were extremely friendly and helpful. They were responsive, easy to work with and very accommodating. We plan to return each year. If you are looking for a relaxing and laid back vacation, Longboat Key is the place to go and SilverSand #246 is the place to stay!
