NAPA VACATION RENTAL PERMIT: VR09-0023 (To be safe, rent only permitted rentals!)

We won the 2011, 2012, 2103 and 2014 'Top Vacation Rental' from FlipKey and have been rated 'Excellent' every year on TripAdvisor since 2011!

You'll enjoy a fully stocked gourmet kitchen, private garden with huge bamboo, fruit trees, shade and sun, spa/Jacuzzi, dining room seating eight, gas barbecue, outdoor dining area, three redwood decks, property-wide WIFI, 42'' flat screen TV, private office with printer/scanner, washer, dryer, off-street parking and iPod-friendly sound systems. Dining, wine tasting and shops are a short walk away, such as Napa's newest restaurants: Morimoto's, Fish Story and Tyler Florence Rotisserie! San Francisco is one hour south.

Visit our website, listed below, for more details, photos and reviews.

Main House and Garden Studio for one price!: The property is comprised of a Main House and Garden Studio - both are rented together for one price. (There is no extra charge for the Garden Studio!) The entire property has been refurbished 2011- 2012.

About Paul Cotten

Both of us are originally from the midwest. Bill is a professional photographer and hair stylist. Paul works for the University of California San Francisco directing research projects. He also is film and stage actor (improv and scripted) and ex-musician/composer. Both ride BMW motorcycles (R1100Rs) all over the incredible California landscape. We both love creating great living spaces. We do a lot in our local communities to bring people together for fun, food and wine.

Paul Cotten purchased this bungalow in 2007

Why Paul Cotten chose Napa

Bill and Paul visited friends in Napa and fell in love with Napa's geographic beauty, world-class restaurants, wineries and its proximity to San Francisco. They searched for many months to find the perfect home. The Napa Vacation Bungalow turned out to be an ideal location balancing privacy with access by foot to downtown Napa shops, spas and restaurants. With so much within walking distance and wine tours available to pick you up from our home, you can enjoy an auto-free vacation!

What makes this bungalow unique

Guests who stay at the Napa Vacation Bungalow have told us that the pictures on the web don't do it justice! They find the home peaceful, relaxing and quiet, with everything possible provided and that they'd come back in a heartbeat. We've strived to create a special place that isn't fussy or uptight and doesn't feel like a rental but feels like your home might feel. We've created a place that we love to visit when we can and we reasoned that if we really liked it, others would too. And it worked! We are always thrilled when guests arrive at our house and we watch the reaction on their faces as they see the property for the first time. It's always fulfilling and reassuring to know that guests are totally delighted with their selection. That is the start of a memorable vacation! Please visit our website (see link below).

Guestbook comments from the manager

Owners truly care about their home and their guests' experience. This was our second time staying at the Napa Bungalow and I would not hesitate to stay again should my travels take me back to this part of the country.

Location location LOCATION! The home is very convenient to the Napa Valley and Sonoma Valley wineries.

Napa Vacation Bungalow

  • 5 of 5
We had an incredible time in Napa - and this vacation bungalow had a lot to do with it. The description and photos on the website were very accurate. The home was extremely clean and had every ammenity that you would need. The owners responded to email inquiries promptly; they provided great suggestions on things to do in Napa and surrounding areas. This was a girls getaway - we toured during the day and came home at night to cook dinners, sip wine, listen to music, and relax on the deck or in the jacuzzi. It is within walking distance to town where there are great restaurants and shopping. I would highly recommend this property.

Lovely home away from home

  • 5 of 5
We had a girls trip to celebrate my big 50 and this house was the best place to accommodate all 6 of us. We had plenty of room to relax after a day of wine tastings. The patio is perfect for hanging out and having a glass (or two) of wine and going over the next days activities. Only blocks from downtown Napa and convenient to get on the major roads for our longer travel days. The home is furnished to be a warm, cozy, relaxing place. I would highly recommend this property to anyone that is going to the Napa Valley region.

Owner's Response: Tim:

Thank you so much for your positive review. We work hard to make our home as nice as possible. We stay there periodically and I think that's key to helping us identify ways to make it better, things that need tweaking, etc.

We're so glad you enjoyed your stay. Please come back next time you're in Napa.

Best to you,

Paul and Bill

Wonderful

  • 5 of 5
Three of us stayed at this property for a special birthday and it was perfect. The feeling is elegrant yet comfortable, and the house has lots of extras. Having the guest house was great for the member of our group who likes a little more privacy. The house is in a quiet corner of town within easy walking distance of historic Napa, biking and hiking trails, and Oxbow Public Market. Our hosts made us feel right at home in every way!

Owner's Response: Thanks so much for the wonderful review. I agree totally!

It turns out we finally got to stay in our house, our vacation rental in Napa, for the first time in about a year this Thanksgiving. I am happy to report, as a guest now, that this property is awesome! I'm seeing it with fresh eyes and realize what a fantastic job we've done creating a very special, serene, attractive space.

I'm now jealous of our guests!

Happy holidays to everyone out there and be sure to rent early as we're almost half full for next year.

Fantastic

  • 5 of 5
Three of us stayed in this darling bungalow style property for a three-day weekend to celebrate a "zero" birthday. It is elegant but comfortable with lots of extras -- hot tub, patio, big screen tv, wifi, hair dryer and spice rack. We loved the location, which is easy walking distance to town and hiking or biking along the river -- but the neighborhood is quiet. The kitchen and dining room are great for dinner at "home". Our hosts obviously want their guests to be happy and provide lots of good information about the area. And Napa has become quite a food scene -- don't miss Oxbow Public Market!
