Dock will accommodate boat up to 40' with draft up to 4'. Direct access to Nantucket and Vineyard Sounds with no bridges. Five miles from Martha's Vineyard by boat. Excellent fishing for Bass, Blues, Fluke Bonito and Albacore. Warm water swimming , water skiing, and clamming in nearby Waquoit Bay, and swimming at private Assoc. beach. Conveniently located between Falmouth and Mashpee and near Woods Hole. Close to great dining and shopping. Amenities include covered patio with new gas grill, flat screen TV with DVD . Truly an ideal vacation spot you will want to return to.

Falmouth, on Cape Cod is well known for its warm water beaches. The town itself is a center of attraction for its quaint shops and restaurants. The many villages in Falmouth are Waquoit, East Falmouth, W. Falmouth, N. Falmouth, Teaticket, and Woods Hole. They each have their own character. Woods Hole is famous for the Woos Hole Oceanigraphic Inst. and the Marine Biological Lab. It is also the location of the Martha's Vinyard Ferry terminal. From here its justr a 30 min. ride to the Vinyard. There's also the 'Island Queen' ferry that leaves from Falmouth Harbor.

Boating: This is an outstanding boating area. It is less than 1/4 mile from Edward's Boat yard and Town boat launch ramp. There is a short boat ride to Nantucket Sound for great fishing and access to Martha's Vinyard (5mi.), Nantucket (21mi.), and the Elizabeth Islands including Cuttyhunk I. Vinyard Sound and Buzzards Bay are also nearby. If weather conditions make it uncomfortable offshore, there are many miles of inland boating in Waquoit Bay, Childs River, Eel River, Little River, and Great River. All accessible from the house without entering the ocean.

Great house for large group!

We rented this delightful waterfront house in July 2009. We had 10 people of various ages stay here very comfortably. The downstairs bedroom was perfect for the 2 children, 4 and 7 and their parents.There is a large bed in an alcove that the kids loved sleeping and playing in. There is also a queen size bed for the adults in the same room. The kids loved the small beach on the water- enough room to dig to China and play in the water. My brother docked his 35ft cabin cruiser at the dock that we used several times to go out to the ocean. The kids even caught a fish! The kitchen was more than adequate as was the dining and living area. It is located in a quiet neighborhood with plenty of off street parking. Everything was perfect and we would recommend this house to anyone who needs room for 8-10.
