Get away and relax in this stylishly decorated yet comfortable, brand new home by Dirickson Creek 3 miles from the beach. The master bedroom and 2nd bedroom have their own decks with water views. The main living area has a screened porch and deck for outdoor entertaining also with water views. Enjoy magnificent sunsets from the master bedroom deck, lower rear deck or screen in porch. Newly constructed boardwalk and floating dock a few steps from the house will provide fishing and crabbing experience and a place to launch your kayaks. Just pull your kayaks from the garage to Dirickson Creek will bring you to Assawoman Bay. Community pool and fitness center is 2 blocks from the house. Conveniently located near bay side shops, restaurants, and attractions. The brand new Harris Teeter, an upscale supermarket is one traffic light away.

Clubhouse with exercise machines, kids' playground, and swimming pool is 2-5 minutes walk from the property. A fee of $35 is required for pool use.

Family Oriented Rental:: This rental property is strictly for family groups. We do not rent to groups of unrelated individuals for conferences or parties. Non-family, non-chaperoned, high school, or college groups are not permitted.

Strictly NO SMOKING and NO PETS ALLOWED!!! : Violation of rule will result in termination of contract and deposit and fees will not be returned.

Check In/ Check Out Times:: Check-in time is no earlier than 3 pm ET. There is only a 5 hour window to completely clean, disinfect and set up for the next guests. ***Please respect our policy and don’t arrive early.*** Checkout time is no later than 10 am ET the day you are scheduled to leave. We must be able to enter the home at 10 a.m. If you do not vacate the premises on time, you will be charged for one (1) additional night‘s stay.

House was perfect. Great for family-bonding activities. (TV, games, wireless, biking, reading on deck in the evening, and on the porch in the morning, etc)

John really paid attention to detail. Plenty of literature on local spots, alphabetized DVDs, spotless condition.

I would make the recommendation to permit an exterior hose to wash off sand. And I wish we could have used the kayaks. Alas, these are minor points to an otherwise great experience.
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Sightseeing, Families with Teenagers, Families with Young Children, Romantic Getaway
Owner's Response: Outside hose is now provided for washing off sand and kayak use is being taken into consideration for next summer.

Very Relaxing Trip

The weather was rainy and cool most of the week with a beautiful, sunny, and warm start to our vacation at the beginning of the week.

Our favorite adventures - playing on the beach at Fenwick State Park, shopping in Rehoboth - both outlets and by the boadwalk, and enjoying our first family vacation with our 18 month old son.

Great restaurants we discovered - Harpoon Hannahs and Five Guys in Bethany

Beautiful house with everything we needed and more. The view of the bay is just gorgeous and the decks made this a very relaxing trip

Lovely, Well-supplied House

The weather was beautiful, hot, humid, but perfect beach weather. Our favorite adventures are kayaking, fishing, walks on beach. Fenwick Island State Park is a great facility.

Great restaurants we discovered - Fractured Prune doughnuts are excellent.

We thoroughly enjoyed your lovely house - well supplied to meet all needs. We want to definitely return and thank you.

Relaxing and Peaceful

The weather was in the '80s everyday - a perfect beach week! Cloudy on Friday, but we still made it to the beach.

The kids loved walking to the dock and seeing all the different animals - lots of frogs, some jellyfish, crabs. They also loved swimming in the pool. We drove to Assateague one day - got to see quite a few horses pretty close. We enjoyed wading in the water on the bayside there. We also drove up to Rehoboth this year - the kids enjoyed Funland there.

Great restaurants we discovered - Bethany Blues, take out from the Fenwick Crabhouse, Fisher's Popcorn (for the drive home).

For the second summer in a row, we have truly enjoyed your home and our vacation here. It is so relaxing and peaceful here, we just love it. See you next year.

The Newlyweds

The weather was hot and perfect! The rain held out until Friday evening.

Our favorite adventure - mini golf, jet skiing, the O.C. boardwalk, go karts and batting cages, and crabbing off the dock.

Great restaurants we discovered - Mancini's in Fenwick and Cottage Cafe in Bethany.

The house is beautiful! We didn't need to bring half the things we did because most of it was already here. We agree that this was nicer than any hotel or timeshare we've stayed in. The menu book was extremely helpful. Hopefully we'll be back again this time next year! Thank You!
