3 Beaches Cottage:Affordable 6 bed home. POOL near beach, restaurants!

I stayed here with a group of 13 during Memorial Day weekend - all of us agreed that it was an absolutely incredible weekend.

I'd give this house my full recommendation for a variety of reasons. Here are some of the reasons why I loved this house:
-extremely modern and clean
-Roomy/cozy - to the point where the 13 of us were extremely comfortable all weekend.
-3 kitchens, 3 full bathrooms, perfect for big groups.
-the main unit has a connected dining room, kitchen, and tv area (3 rooms). As a result, it made for a great common area for all of us to hang out together.
-5 minute walk to a great beach area, including Atlantic Beach Club and Flo Clam Shack.
-5 minute ride to downtown Newport/Thames St. We had no problem getting a cheap and quick taxi ride every night.

Most importantly, the owners (Nancy and Craig) seem to LOVE having people have a great time at their house - they live for this. I've used homeaway.com many times, and the owners can definitely make/break a weekend. Nancy went the extra mile to make sure myself and my friends were comfortable the whole weekend, and she happily answered all of my many e-mails leading up to the trip. When you go there, check out the guestbook - mainly, Nancy's journal entries from when her and Craig were fixing up the house back in '08. That'll help you understand how dedicated the two of them were to making this house a wonderful place for family and friends to spend time together.

This is a great home for a large group or a few families. It has 3 separate apartments in one home. So, numerous families or couples can have their privacy but also get together in the large open kitchen/dining/living room area in the middle apartment. The kitchen's are well stocked. The beds are very comfortable. It was very clean. I wish I could of stayed longer and can't wait to go back! The owner's were very easy to deal with.

I had my wedding in downtown Newport and this house was just perfect for the family and the new in-laws. My parents stayed in the top floor apartment and it was just perfect for me and my bridesmaids to get ready in on the wedding day. The in-laws had their own apartment, which was just perfect as well. Everyone was all together, but yet everyone had their own space. The backyard was ideal for our close family to gather the day after the wedding. I highly recommend this rental for any occasion! The owners are easy to talk to and were there for any questions that came up. Myself and my family will absolutely be returning here again. Thank you again for letting us use your fabulous house, it made our special weekend even better!
