My wife and I have three children and this location is perfect in every way! For once I did not have to break my back lugging everything to the beach! The location is great and the amenities more than meet our needs. There was plenty of room for us all and the balcony was a great place to escape after the kids were in bed. The balcony was a big concern with children, but the doors are to heavy for the kids to open and that was a relief! I was also worried about not being on the first floor. No problems though, there are plenty of elevators and the view beats anything you'll find on the first floor!!
The owner was a pleasure to work with and very timely with the deposit return. We needed that after taking advantage of all there was to do!
If your going to Destin and want to be out of the hustle and bustle this condo is your best choice! Your still close enough to everything, but not smack in the middle of the traffic and crowds.

Owner's Response: What a wonderful family to work with. I am so excited to be renting to them again this year (2009). I do hope they will continue to make our vacation home their vacation stay annually. It is families like this that makes it a pleasure to rent our second home to.
