Photos and Description of the Stetson vacation cottage rental Cottage w/sunporch and sleeping loft. Sleeps up to 9 adults. Full bath

Newly constructed knotty pine Cottage on Pleasant Lake. Includes dock, two kayaks and a 14' boat with 8 hp outboard motor. Enjoy swimming, grilling, fishing and a campfire pit. Excellent lake for bass fishing. Relax and enjoy the wildlife, eagles, loons and the occasional moose. Downstairs includes full kitchen and living area, bathroom with shower, private bedroom, and sun porch. Living room has futon that can sleep 1-2 children. Upstairs includes two lofts, front and rear, connected by a catwalk that spans the kitchen/living area below. Loft in rear has 3 beds (twin, queen, & full). Front loft has beautiful views overlooking the lake and a full size futon.

Beautiful Home on Pleasant Lake: Perfect Getaway

Our family had a fantastic time. Our children truly enjoyed the lake and the amazing fishing. We even had a bald eagle swoop down and grab a fish from the lake just a few hundred feet from the float!!
The house itself is pristine and extremely comfortable with everything anyone could possible need. The owners were very helpful but also left us on our own. The balance was perfect.
The weather was rainy most of the time, but that did not put a damper on the swimming, boating, and excellent fishing. The kids caught many, many small fish right off the dock and were very excited.
There is shopping about 15 minutes away, so there was a great balance of quiet and being able to get to "civilization" when needed.
We hope to return next year for two weeks, rather than just one.
This is a very beautiful, relaxing spot and was just what we needed to recharge out batteries.
Great lake house (much more than just a cottage!). We highly recommend it!

Pure Enjoyment in Stetson, Maine

This was a terrific summer get-away location; quiet, relaxing and beautiful. The cottage was top-notch. Clean and airy, every anticipated item was available for our use. Even our dog had a great time! The weather was not especially sunny but a 15 minute car ride brought us to some low-key shopping and relaxed sightseeing in the area towns. Bangor, with its restaurants and museums, was an easy 1/2 hour car trip and allowed for a pleasant diversion from the rain and clouds. The bass fishing was fabulous and the boat and swimming float made for a perfect summer retreat. This is a perfect location for the family who wants to get away from the fast pace of work and home demands. The owners could not be more accommodating and helpful. We will definitely return for another visit!

Wonderful Cottage

We just returned from our vacation at this property and it was great. The cottage is beautiful and so homey and comfortable. the lake was very pretty and had some good fishing. I will miss this place!!
