Description of the Franconia vacation chalet rental
Quaint chalet in Mittersill Village within walking distance of Cannon Mt Ski Slopes, and beautiful Franconia Notch. Lots of hiking and snowshoe trails plus sledding right across the street. The chalet is fully equipped with three floors. Top floor is a finished loft with four single beds. Main floor has kitchen, living/dining area with 12 feet of floor to ceiling sliding doors, opening onto a rear deck. Enjoy beautiful views of the mountains and spectacular sunsets. Also on main floor is a bathroom and two bedrooms, one with a queen sized bed and another with a double bed. Bottom floor is a finished recreation room with a game table, TV/DVD/Video player and a large library of movies, books and games as well as another bathroom and a laundry room with washer/dryer. The chalet is set up perfectly for a family with children, since they can have their own space upstairs in the loft and downstairs in the rec room, leaving to main floor for adults to enjoy the huge fireplace.

Chalet is located in Mittersill Village which is adjacent to Cannon Mountain Ski Area and Franconia Notch State Park. So much to do in the White Mountains! In the winter: downhill skiing, cross country skiing, snowshoeing, ice skating, snow-mobiling, sledding and tubing, shopping and fine dining, even dog sledding!

Payment is usually accepted in the quoted currency unless the currency and the amount is specifically agreed in advance with the owner / advertiser.
- 50% deposit and 50% to be received one week before rental week.
- In the event of cancellation any less than one month before the time reserved, refund of advanced rental deposit will be made only to the extent that a tenant can be found to occupy the vacated time.If the latter occurs, I will retain only a $50.00 administration fee.
- A $500. security deposit, made out on a seperate check is required with final payment and will be returned within two weeks after lease expiration, less any amount deducted for excessive damage,or extra cleaning. Thus far, I have returned all security deposits in full!

Ski: SKI, SKI, SKI, Walk to Cannon Mountain Ski area Or Drive 20 minutes to Bretton Woods or Loon Mountain. Attitash, Wildcat, and Waterville Valley and Tuckerman's Ravine are less then an hour away. Ski a different mountain every day!
